The Robles Pumpkin Patch & Robles Christmas Tree Farm — Attraction in Montebello

I agree with many of the bad reviews, had a bad experience on October 23, had a family outing with 4 adults and 3 kids, total paid for 3 wristbands and 4 petting zoo tickets was $115. If you are purchasing a petting zoo ticket for a child, an adult has to go in with them and has to pay $8 as well, that’s $16 total to let my daughter pet about 8 animals that they have. My nieces are 13 and also bought tickets, but cashier told me that a parent has to go in with my child and have to pay as well, which was annoying to me. Monrovia has a pumpkin patch and does not force you to pay as a parent only for child. They are definitely money hungry which I thought they were supporting the Latino community which was the opposite in my experience, I will no longer support the Robles family and will also make sure I spread the word. They also don’t give you a receipt which is not ethical business so that itself is a red flag. Staff is exaggerated and wouldn’t allow my husband to go into the petting zoo to take a quick picture. They are charging more than double than last year! $5 per ride plus $2 to go in per person or $46 for 12 tickets and goes up to about $82 for packages. It was fairly empty and the owners were on us like hawks and that made us very UNCOMFORTABLE, the owner or worker would walkie talkie other workers every move we made to see how long we had been in the ride, where we were, etc. We could hear them talking about us through the walkie talkie and it made us extremely uncomfortable, made us feel like criminals or something. Would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. There are far better, bigger, FRIENDLIER places that are much more affordable. GO ELSEWHERE. There is no petting zoo this...

My kids had a blast. So much that we have gone twice already. The place is nice both jn the day and night time, but one thing that stood out is how hot it is in the day time. Most employees dont have shade, so theyre out in the sun. Pretty sad when they must stand on their post checking kids badges. If they would take better care of their employees needs, I would have given them the extra star. Also, the snowcone not worth it. I got two for my kids and they water down the syrup. No flavor whatsoever and the cup is so flimsy that if you dont hang on to it, it will spill. Yesterday out of 5 people with a snow cone, only one...
