Calm and relaxing spot we stop at 6pm on a Friday and it was just chill the weather smooth and sunny, just enough to get a small sun burn ๐Ÿ”ฅ , the the beach is big enough to it doesn't feel crowded and there's a park to the side to catch your breath or have a good walk on the beach trail Really good spot .

Beautiful and serene park, especially in the evening. Plenty of parking (paid). There are 2 volleyball courts, picnic area in the grass, trash cans available so you can play, eat, relax and leave your trash in the right places. Perfect spot to watch the sunset as well!

We lived at this park while visiting lol. Beach access, in front of the beach is a cool little play structure. At night they have everything for you to set up bonfires.

I absolutely loved it here. We chilled here for hours each day of our visit to Monterey. Perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset or rise! My favorite part of the trip was this...

Fun, fascinating place, but it had it's drawbacks. Watch your time on the parking meter. I returned to my truck just two minutes before the time expired to find a cop waiting to write me a ticket. Better luck next time, jerk. I have been here twice, and both times, someone swiped my credit card information. I had to throw away my card and...

The beach is not recommend by me for kids. There are play statues but they have cigarettes in the sand of the toys. I suggest families to Carmel, Lovers point, or even San Carlos Beach by the Coast Guard Pier. The sand has a ton of broken glass and needles. I volunteer with some other locals to try and keep...
