My friend and I came here for lunch and to say that the experience was horrible would be an understatement! We tried to start with some guacamole and the avocados were so hard and you could not get your fork through them and then there was some awful brown stuff under them! We sent it back and just had the chips and salsa. We ordered the street tacos and they were not much better. My friend got the rice and beans and I opted against them. My tacos were greasy and the shells were falling apart and made it so that I could not pick them up and eat them. If you could get past the grease the flavor was just not there. I was really disappointed in it. The chips and salsa was not that great either. The salsa seemed like it was out of a jar. The chips were not warm or fresh at all. The prices were really high in my opinion especially for the quality that you get! I think $11.99 for 3 street tacos is high! Then for them to come out greasy and you can't pick them up is ridiculous! So the food that I did try was not good and the prices were too high. Then as if it couldn't get worse it did with the service. My friend and I were there on a Saturday and they were not all that busy, but we were there to catch up as we had not seen each other and our waitress seemed to be in a hurry for us to get the check. So I told her that I would take the check and she brought and immediately wanted my credit card, so I relented after a quick glance at the check. She brought it back with my credit card and I left it sit while my friend and I visited and she came back and said that there was a mistake and wanted the check back. I had not looked at it yet and when I did I saw that instead of the twenty something check I was charged sixty something!! So I let her have it back and asked if she needed my card as well, but she just walked off. The some time later another gentleman came and asked for my card to make it right. The entire experience was bad! The food, the service, the lack of apology for messing everything up at the end was enough for me. We left and I won't be back. I hope others have better experiences, but I will not try it...

I end up going down to the Lazy Donkey every week. My previous review was of the first time I’d ever gone. It’s never been a bad experience since that one.

Previous Review: After eating at the other lazy donkey I thought I would try my luck at this lazy donkey being as it was so close to my house. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with a lack of attentive staff, poorly constructed taco salads that were soggy before they came to my table, and quesadillas that were so under filled with cheese it was just a taco.

Not being from this region, I was never accustomed to free queso as so many eateries in Oklahoma provide. The Lazy Donkey charges $4.99 for an incredibly small portion of delicious queso.

My wife tried to order chicken tamales, unfortunately they only have pork tamales. So she fell back onto what would seem to be an essential dish, taco salad. It was a mess. The onions, peppers, and steak were loaded into the taco shell with all of their juice, and it ruined the integrity of the dish.

The Hawaiian quesadilla I ordered had no cheese on it. I didn’t read the menu very well, it could have ben intended to be that way. But in my mind, quesadillas are sealed shut with delicious cheeses. I ended up having to roll this quesadilla like a taco to keep the goodies inside.

The waitress hounded us every couple of minutes about ordering, but never about the empty salsa containers or cups.

Let me just say the food is WONDERFUL! the staff is lazy and uncaring. Thought this was a one off situation but we went back and same scenario. The waitresses are uncaring, inattentive, and rude. This last time we went we had a late arrival to our party. We sit down and get our waters out just fine, we order two beers and some queso. Queso makes it beers do not. Last person shows up ask for a water and a beer as well. We sat there for at least 10 mins, I get up I go ask someone for our water and beer (mind you they are not busy there was three tables including ours in the building) and the girls look at me and shake their head okay while waiving their hand like shewing me off. I go sit down. Another 5 mins goes by still no beers or water. Husband gets up gets his beer from the bar but never got his water and we are still missing two beers. Lady comes to the table to take our order we tell her about the beers she goes gets them they are wrong. We tell her we are just going to take the ticket and go and she just says okay. Doesn’t ask what is wrong or anything. It was horrible customer service and experience which makes me sad because the food was great. I won’t go back for a while. Not getting the service situation corrected will be a down fall for them. Only giving them a 3 star because the food is good or it would have been a 2. So freaking...
