Strawbridge Lake — Attraction in Moorestown Township

I love walking at this park, but I won't be back for Kayaking. We went yesterday and the water was sooooo stinky! I felt like we were paddling in raw sewage. Yuck! Also, there wasn't a great launch for the kayaks. Sure there are boat docks, but kayaks are too low for using a dock. Perhaps this was because the water was lower than usual? Not sure, but if it wasn't for a Good Samaritan pulling us onto sure, we might have gotten stuck...

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. I feel more at home there than anywhere else on the planet. Has been a place of refuge for me thru the worst year of my life. Met some of the nicest people in the world there. Whether it's a family outing or just a place to get alone and escape from life, a place to get some exercise or just sit and enjoy nature, strawbridge lake is awesome. Can't say enough good...

Back in the late 1960’s-70’s, My Family used to take us Ice Skating on Strawbridge Lake. But, as years went by, South Jersey’s Winters gradually became more mild. Also Strawbridge Lake’s Geese population increased & so did Their Fecal deposits in the bottom of the Lake. It’s still a Beautiful Lake, but I can’t remember the last...
