First off, this is a review of both of my shopping experience and my delivery experience. The later of which I am extremely dissatisfied. My shopping experience with Scott was great. He was very helpful and not pushy at all. The store is also beautiful on the inside. Honestly, the only reason I didn't given it a one star was because of Scott. And I realize this is not the stores fault, but the delivery people. But where else can I leave a public review? Long story short on the delivery, I ordered 4 pieces. One of which was TV stand. They have attempted to delivery this to me twice, but because of damage, I rejected it twice. The second time, I know for sure it was the delivery team putting it together who severely damaged my piece because I watched them. They also were 30 minutes late after my delivery window ended and never called me to let me know they were on their way. There was also slight damage to the dresser I ordered and was told that someone would be contacting me in 3-5 business days to schedule a repair. That time has come and gone with no call. This also the now the third time in total I've had to reject furniture at delivery due to damage when buying with Ashley due to delivery incompetence. Ashley furniture needs to step up and hire delivery people who are actually intelligent, careful, and caring about the hundreds or even thousands of dollars you spent on the furniture. If this is how they handle the products you spend your hard earned money on, its clear they don't appreciate you as a customer. It's also clear they do not value your time since not only were they late, but I've waited for hours on two separate days waiting for them and they still didn't accomplish my delivery. Read moreI purchased a dining room table, 4 chairs, and a bench from the Ashley store in Mooresville on 7/26/25 with a delivery date set for 8/19/25. Leading up to delivery, I received multiple text confirmations, and the delivery team arrived on time. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there.
The crew began unpacking and assembling the table (“white glove” delivery), but quickly discovered they didn’t have the hardware to put it together. Neither delivery person spoke English, so they had to call a translator, who then had to call customer service. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth, I finally got on the line with a representative who told me I’d need to wait 7–10 more days for the missing parts to arrive and suggested I just accept the order as-is. When I asked about compensation for the inconvenience—especially since I had already gotten rid of my old table—she said she couldn’t answer that.
At that point, I refused the order and requested a refund. The delivery team packed everything back up and left, then called the Mooresville store. I later spoke with the manager, who apologized and promised I’d receive a refund once the furniture was returned to the warehouse.
To make matters worse, when I first purchased the set, the salesperson was extremely pushy about selling me a 5-year coverage plan. Out of curiosity, I checked online afterward and found the exact same set for $500 less than what I was charged in-store.
As of today (8/20/25), I still have not received any confirmation about my refund. Between the poor communication, lack of accountability, missing parts, higher pricing, and the overall hassle, this has been an incredibly disappointing experience.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and ordered our bedroom set and living room coffee table after we viewed the items in-store. I will say, the staff in the store was actually very helpful and I do appreciate them! But as for the overall company, we are beyond disappointed. We ordered the furniture one month prior to our move to ensure enough time for delivery. The coffee table and bedroom nightstands were delivered on time, but then we waited over THREE MONTHS for the bed to be delivered!! We were told “two more weeks” each time we called for an update. We paid extra to have the furniture built for us and trash removed. When the bed was finally delivered, the crew showed up four hours prior to our scheduled time window (which was a problem because we had an appointment and were getting ready to leave when they showed up with no warning at all). They “assembled” the bed as if it was the first time they had done so. We found screws on the floor that they didn’t place correctly (or at all) and left trash/cardboard/styrofoam under the bed when they were done for us to find and clean up later. When I went to sit on the bed it was wobbly and clearly not assembled correctly and is not stable. After calling the company, we were told they could send the parts needed (since the original guy putting it together bent some of the washers needed). We were told someone would be at the house in THREE WEEKS to reassemble the bed. After waiting MONTHS for the bed to arrive in the first place!
