This review is split. If viewed as any one department I might score 1 star or 5 stars. Update: I have continued to work with this store on everything but car audio (this is still a major AVOID department). After two more very good experiences with the appliance department (Heather) I am upping this to four stars.
-The store manager, Walt, is a great guy who personally answers asks for help or special services without issue or resistance. Truly an exceptional character for this type of environment.
-The car audio guy Rob doesn't have a pulse. After someone who was on the floor helped me find "someone to help me in car audio" this guy comes out from behind a locked services area door asking what I need. His tone and demeanor was negative from before I said a word, as if I was bothering him. No vehicles were in the service bay he was in, behind the locked door. I still gave him the chance to sell me something but he talked himself and me out of bothering to try to make a purchase happen. I had a high budget here ($2,000+), but the project required customer interaction and this fellow was having none of that. Below 1 star. Tried a couple times to do business. Same guy. Same attitude. Seems he's the only guy there? Don't understand this as everyone else in the store has been helpful.
-The TV and related services guys are good, and I recommend them. They installed a large flat panel in my house and did so with delivery on a reasonable schedule. The pricing all around was fair.
-The appliance team (Heather) has helped me now on four occasions outfit houses for resale with good equipment across the board - washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges and microwaves, but now also on my own home. They helped me locate top of the line equipment from the returns or liquidation areas of their inventory to save costs and helped with install, and delivery. On time on budget. I'll use them again. Five stars++. Heather was a big help on my own fridge replacement at home, and helped me again when I incorrectly measured with no cost to me! Very good experience.
Other generic interactions on the floor particularly in appliances and electronics are generally good.

Read moreI came into the store Tuesday October 29th and was denied service after I got there at 6:50pm and no one asked if I needed any help. I had to hunt someone down and find someone to help by this time it is 7:15 and the gentleman (who was helping someone else) told me they could not set up a phone past 7pm. It was 7:15. He asked us to come back the next day. So we do (October 30th) we get there at 6:40 and no one asks if we need help. We patiently wait for a gentleman to help us in phone section and he proceeds to just talk to one customer for 25minutes (during this time I tried to find help and no one was at all around the store.) The employees were clearly avoiding us so they did not have to set up a phone toward the end of their shift. We hunt down a manager and demand service for a phone to be set up. The manager proceeds to give excuses then decides to do his job and start to set up the phone. Which took him 30 minutes (not long at all!!) Then he tells us Best Buy doesn’t want them in the store after hours and just complete BULLSHITTING us about their lack of customer service. I have worked in retail for 7+ years.. trust me Best Buy wants you to make SALES ..then you will get more hours!! Dude was a joke! Then didn’t even turn phone on or set it up at all we had to go to AT&T. Which at&t employee blatantly said they did not do their job! I have a Best Buy credit card and always walk right in and buy new phones never have any problem but these guys that you have their now DO NOT WANT TO MAKE SALES. I will be back and expect much better customer service and hope to change this review to a five...
