Will keep this nice and simple. Wife and I decided to try this restaurant as we never went here before.

The good: Very clean, looks new, cozy feel. The food, amazing. We just got sandwiches, but they were nearly made, massive, overall really good food and not over priced. Super fair prices. Once again, really good food.

The bad: Service was horrible. We waited a couple minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we came in. Nobody said a word, they were just doing their own thing.

Once we got a table, Brenda came to us. Nobody here has name tags, but cashier said her name is Brenda. She came to us looking like we did something to piss her off. Angry. Any questions we ask about the menu she just nods. Asked her about a particular sandwich if it was spicy or just sweet because my wife doesn’t eat spicy… she’s like yes it’s very spicy. So we ordered a different one and only one of this “spicy” sandwich. When they brought it out and I tried it I was very disappointed that it wasn’t even slightly spicy and my wife could have also had it - as it was delicious. If she wasn’t sure about that particular sandwich why not say “I’m not sure, let me go ask for you” why lie? She came back all the way in the end to ask if everything was okay.. not once when we got our food. She didn’t give us utensils… I asked for some, she ended up bringing one. I guess for both of us to share the fork and knife. Didn’t give us more drinks, nothing. Had to ask a different employee - that was much more pleasant and helpful. Overall, for a place that has such good food, clean location etc, service sucked. And that should be taken resolved so the image...

Exceptional Lunch Experience with Outstanding Service.

My son and I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Mooresville Family House, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy lunch, dinner or a special celebration. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, all of which are thoughtfully crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

What truly made our evening special, though, was the outstanding service provided by our waitress, Maria. From the moment we were seated, Maria made us feel welcome with her genuine warmth and friendly demeanor. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered insightful suggestions that enhanced our dining experience. Maria was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our glasses were always full and that we had everything we needed throughout the period we were there.

Her professionalism and attention to detail were truly commendable, and she went above and beyond to make sure our lunch experience was nothing short of perfect. Maria's passion for her work is evident, and it’s clear that she takes great pride in providing top-notch service to her guests.

Overall, Mooresville Family House exceeded our expectations in every way, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Maria. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable lunch or breakfast experience. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to...

My husband and I visit every Saturday for breakfast. We get there early, so we don't experience the wait others talk about. The food is good, but what continues to bring us back is Joy. She is an amazing server and we love how she cares about the restaurant. On the very few times we have visited and she wasn't there we have had horrible service, Its typically younger adults who don't smile or even care to be there. It's a very unwelcoming feeling, minus the times we had the pleasure to sit in Marias section. She got us by accident because another server never came to check on us. These two women are by far the best servers in the entire restaurant. Hardworking, smiling and going the extra mile. It's often people like them that go unnoticed by management. I hope they are treated great. I've never heard either of them complain. I know when we are there other patrons also mention how wonderful they are. I will pay for good service. To be honest if Joy wasn't there, not sure if we would be back. I need to be sure to mention on this most recent “snow day” Joy was killing it. She was managing all of her tables, taking phone orders, catering orders, and ringing up customers. Her service never fell short. In our opinion, Joy is what brings us and others back over and over. When we think of Mooresville Family House, she is...

This was our first time visiting since they rebranded. The restaurant was cute and clean, and our service was good. I ordered the cheeseburger club with slaw...not so good. The burger had to have been one of those frozen, overly processed patties, as it was tough and weird textured. They should definitely consider upping the quality of hamburger meat and hand patting them seeing how many burger options are on the menu. The slaw was great though. My husband had the fried chicken with collards and fried squash. He enjoyed his meal. I tasted a fried squash dipped in ranch and it was delish! My daughter got a hot dog and fries. The bun was dry, and the fries are the huge crinkle cut (my least favorite fries ever) and they were not seasoned at all. My daughter preferred the yeast roll that came with my husband's meal over her meal. I would absolutely never go back for a burger, hotdog or fries, but will definitely give it another chance if I'm in the mood for country food...or possibly to try their breakfast.

We were looking for a relaxing place to have breakfast before moving forth with our day. Mooresville Family House was the perfect pick. We were seated immediately and greeted by George our server. Most pleasant man. Our whole dining experience exceeded any expectations we had. My husband had the Avacado Benedict and I had the Country Fried Steak and Egg platter. Both dishes were outstanding, plentiful and delectable. I especially liked their Hashbrowns with grilled onions. George helped us decide what to order….. kudos to George for picking the right dishes to meet our desires.

I wanted to like this place as It was good before it changed its name. The problem with low premium prices, is you need at least above average restaurant food. Okay first plate , Fried Okra was chewy and stringy (most likely from Okra picked to young). It was not edible. The honey red hot sandwitch was cooked well, but bland. The sauce was non existent (it melted off the sandwitch). The children's Alfredo, just normal frozen nothing special. The Hawaiian burger, tasted like somewhere between dirty dish water and feet(the pic is after we stopped eating it). Very funny taste to it.
