They almost never have what I want at this location and it's not something different it's the same thing . And you have to wait in line only to get up there and you get asked what you want and it's not there consistently . Chipotle is awesome but stay away from Mooresville or gamble with them having what you want off their very own menu *edit even though the Chipotle in Mooresville has provided poor performance to say the least in the past I do not have much choice in Chipotle as I live in Mooresville but today has been an all-time low I've circumvented them not being able to handle my order when they came out with the online order because they had enough time to prepare what I asked for before I got there even though normally somehow they couldn't handle things on their own menu before and so I was satisfied with one problem fixed they've created another there is shelving for the online orders where your name on the order is placed on shelves in alphabetical order my first name starts with an a and my last name starts with a c no matter how you do it my bag is on the top shelf so when I pull up at the time I'm told to be there and there is no bags on the top shelf and no customers I wonder why my food isn't made yet five 10 15 minutes go by and I have to ask why my food isn't ready yet and I walk in to find out my food has been sitting on the shelf the whole time on a shelf where the letters don't match my name so I would never think that's my food now if you can't read I would never insult or make fun of you but please stop picking the employees who can't read to put meals on shelving based on alphabetical order if they don't know the alphabet because now my food is 20 minutes cold because it was on m shelf so I never picked it up because my name never started with m and I could clearly see that from where I was standing I had to get upset it took so long an ealknin to find out they couldn't read which again I'm not making fun of anybody that can't read but they shouldn't be in charge of putting things in alphabetical order either and that should be common sense to the restaurant. *Third edit I made it home and started eating my food and there is a long black hair in one of my burritos I do not have long black hair I took a photo of it but there is no place to post it here. In conclusion the franchise itself is great Mooresville is annually terrible I left my first bad review years ago and forgot about it until they came out with online ordering which fixed my first problem . Now they have the ingredients I need for my burrito when I get there which is awesome and I'm really happy about but if you put an a through c burrito on an m shelf I will assume my food's not ready and I feel like it's not my fault you can't read and while I'm happy you have all the ingredients I asked for finally I'm sad you decide to add extra ingredients like long black hair that is not appetizing to me at all what an embarrassment to the franchise which is otherwise fantastic I would have hoped enough people would have left the establishment in the years since I've been there to fix these problems but apparently Mooresville is cursed if you are really craving Chipotle I advise you get it as it is delicious if executed properly but I also suggest you avoid the Mooresville location by any...
Read moreI will NEVER go to this Chipotle again!
I walked in to the store thankful it wasn't very busy. There were 3 people in front of me in line, 4 people behind the counter (one grilling chicken, the rest not doing anything). I waited a couple minutes, none of us were being helped or even acknowledged. The 2 people at the front of the line walked out without ordering and no one said a word to them. No problem, I hadn't been there that long yet. When I get to the front of the line, first I order a salad to go. The girl takes her sweet time getting the lettuce from the end of the line before coming back to do the rest. Next I ask for 2 bowls to go, both with white rice. She puts white rice in both then adds black beans without asking. I tell her no beans in either and she gets annoyed, throws the bowl out, and starts over. When she gets to the salsas she puts the tiniest amount I've ever seen in each bowl so I ask for more. Then comes the cheese. There is a tiny bit of cheese at the bottom of the (not even strings, it's the crumbs at the very bottom that are moist and gross). She sprinkles a tiny bit on each bowl. I ask her for extra cheese and she says there's no more so I ask can she get more cheese please. She tells me they have to grate more cheese (a blatant lie) and it's not ready. I tell her no problem, I'll wait, and I step out of the way so they can help the people behind me. Meanwhile the person behind me has a bowl that is ready to go just sitting on the counter. No one helps him. Also, this whole time, since I walked in the door, there have been 2 partially made burritos just sitting open on the back counter. The girl at the register (Violet) has asked the other girls to finish the mobile order 3 times already (the customer is standing there waiting). I wait some more. Violet asks the other 2 girls to get the cheese with no response so she goes in the back to get it. While she's in the back (maybe 30 seconds) one of the girls in the front throws out my bowl! That's now 2 bowls she has thrown in the trash just on my order. What a waste! When Violet comes back with the cheese, she looks for my bowl and I tell her they threw it out so she makes me a new bowl herself. Violet is the only competent person there. If I were her I would have quit a long time ago.
This is just one of the horrific experiences I've had at this Chipotle. Of the last 4 trips I haven't had one single good experience. They can't get a mobile order done right to save their lives. The run out of items regularly. And their staff (besides Violet) are extremely slow and not friendly at all. I will not be returning to this Chipotle. EVER. If I really want a burrito I'll be driving the extra 15 minutes to...
Read moreAt exactly 10:45am I walked in the doors to place an order, which I had previously tried to place online but it was NOT WORKING. I was not greeted with a "hello" or a "good morning." Immediately one employee said with zero eye contact to me "Do you have a mask?" What a way to be greeted. I politely said no. She said I must wear one and I politely told her I cannot as I am exempt from the mask ordinance of NC, aside from just that, the Constitution of the United States exempts me as well. I continued browsing the menu board, alone a single customer in the store. The same woman said I will have to order outside, I said I'm still looking at the menu though. Then another employee asked why I was still there, showing my face. This second employee finally hands me a paper menu and says I can order outside. Confused, I asked her why I have to order outside if I am the only one inside? Her response ofcourse was that is the store policy. Okay Chipotle, so you enjoy ostracizing your customers who have legitimate Medical and religious reasons to not cover their air holes and face. Finally I walk towards the door and I ask her how am I going to pay, can you bring a card scanner outside? No ofcourse. Well I don't just feel comfortable handing over my card to anyone. Immediately she says we'll you can order online then! Very rudely, looking as if she was ready to close the door and lock me out. I said I just tried ordering band it was not working, she says yes it is. I said again, NO it was not because I JUST TRIED. I finally decided I could watch them carry the card to the counter from the door and she was fine with that. She takes my order, I order very nicely. She goes inside, the first lady that didn't greet me to begin with then brings my food and card back outside. Nobody in this store was nice or welcoming at all. They were glad to kick me outside, and told me that I was lying about being unable to order online. Very rude and unprofessional to say the least. It's sad that businesses believe they can supercede the very documents that our entire nation was founded on, with their "policies." Even Walmart understands that many people have medical conditions and have the right to practice their religion in public, which for me does not allow face coverings as it is a direct disgrace to God according to the Bible, it is shameful. Businesses should do better, and treat their customers with respect. I would hate to be a VISIBLY handicapped person entering their store, will the employees have the same rude demeanor towards somebody in a wheelchair? I am so very dissatisfied. Consider a drive thru option if your business continues to be afraid of the cold with a 99.73%...
