I always bring my son here but never thought we would experience racism today. There was a ball at the splash pad everyone was playing with. once my son (Hispanic) would play with it a man-child would take it away and told us it was his. When we went back all the other kids were playing with it again and my son wanted to play as well and he decided to take it away and he kept saying it was his ball & parade it around. All the other white kids were the only ones allowed to play with it. I stood by the side in disbelief and he kept giving us the dirtiest looks. This is a full grown dude showing this behavior around his kids and other kids. Disgusting.

I’m super happy I found this little gem of a place. It was clean and had so many unique fun things for kids. First of all I love that the whole park has a fence around it so you don’t have to worry about your kids wandering off. There is an area for younger kids and then an area for older kids. There’s also a restroom here, it smelled pretty gross but oh well, not a big deal for me. I’m looking forward to coming here in the summer when the splash pad is open! My kids loved being here a lot! I love the little seating area for Moms.

I used to take my grandson here all the time when he was younger. The splash pad is a great way to cool off for toddlers. There are plenty of benches for the adults around the pad, which means you get cooled off as well with the splashed water. Nice playground and plenty of shade as well. Ice cream truck used to come by frequently throughout the day, I am assuming it still does. Nice way to spend a few hours on a hot afternoon.

It's great that there's a splash pad and playground in the same area. There's a hop, skip, and jump between them. I don't know if the kids are supposed to dry off before getting on the playground from the pad or not, but when they don't (and almost none of the ones there when we were there did), it makes the playground equipment slippery. Even so, the kids had plenty of fun. There are plenty of things for them to do. If you have an older or larger size kid, some of the areas may not be suited for them. There were a lot of people there when we went. If your child decides to play on the playground, there isn't anywhere to sit and watch them, but there's plenty of seats near the splash pad. We had to keep moving around to be able to see the kids. The ice cream 🚚 comes, but I'm not sure at what times. I got a lime popsicle that was so good and refreshing. There really aren't many places to escape the sun and heat at this park. It's clean, spacious, and fun,...

This park has the best playground I've ever been in all of my life lol. With the renovations of Liberty park it's sooooo crowded cause everyone thinks it's so cool. But HOPE PARK IS WHERE ITS AT! As a parent , there are quite a few photo opportunities of your littles😊 Also the younger side is RIGHT next to the older side so if you ha e children of varying ages, you can pretty much keep an eye on all of them. With so many obstacles and the whole thing looking like you stepped into some kingdom for children, it is just awesome and I wish I was a kid again so I could play without...
