Five Guys — Restaurant in Mooresville

I've been coming to this five guys after therapy for several years, it's my comfort food place and never disappoints me. The food is fantastic every time, I always get 2 little hamburgers ketchup and extra pickles, they always pack on the pickles which is exactly what I want. The location is always clean, the bathrooms are nice and kept clean and stocked. I haven't always loved the drink machines since I felt when they first got them the flavor syrup to water ratio was not tasty but it's good now (and I'm super weirdly critical of fast food soft drink tastes anyway).

Most importantly though, I am absolutely thankful for the sweet and friendly atmosphere of the employees whenever I have come in. Busy or not so busy, they always seem to be doing their best, smiling, paying attention, patient, and just so welcoming. I worked service for years and I know it's hard, especially fast food, but their attitudes have always been a comfort to me since I come in emotionally drained and sad. The kindness of a stranger smiling at a bad joke about how much I like pickles or even just smiling kindly taking my order or giving me my bag have meant a weird amount to me. I have been to other Five Guys in other NC aread or out of state locations and they are nice too, but this location is Special.

When we come to a Five Guys we make our order first, wash up and then usually have to waiting 12 to 17mins depending on how busy it is for everything to cook. But my husband went to use to restroom and before he got out out orders were done. So our burgers were not cooked to order. Ours were reheated and really crisp on the ends just to .The burger was just plain cold and not at all what we were accustomed to. The best part of our meal was the hot out of the fryer fries. I've never been to a Five Guy's that doesn't cook to order so its hot and fresh. I was just stopping by Sam's Club and took advantage of stopping to grab a bit to eat so needless to say I wont bother to stop again. The impression I had is this is a normal routine because the manager was doing interviews so she is responsible for the employees...

Man I love this place. Some of the best burgers and fries around. If you haven't tried them yet, its your own fault.

Ok, haven't been back in a while. Today is 4/14/21. Went to grab a bite since it was so ama6last time I went. This time, no difference. Food was still great. Fries.....on point. Cajun of course. But................the price. Man, that hurt. Double cheese burger and fries and a drink. Not large. No extra. Just ketchup only. Seriously. It was 17 dollars. Wow. Just blew me away. Now if you don't mind spending the money, then by all means this place is amazing. But, if you don't have the money to spend.....then don't go here. And I understand...."you get what you pay for" but my God!! Lol. So either way it was a...
