As a regular pool player myself, I have to say Moorhead Billiards made me feel at home. Upon entering, I was reminded of playing pool back in the Twin Cities. Plus, with hours being 2p-2a most days, it fit perfectly in my schedule. Here's my outlook:
• Wait Time: Even at its busiest, it took no more than 30 seconds to get seated. We were brought drinks right away. • Gameplay: Beautiful pro-cut Diamond tables all around. The tables are smooth, and in very good shape. They couldn't have been felted more than three months from when I went in. We played on table 14, the only 9-foot table in the joint. Was totally worth it! • In-House Cues & Bridges: The cues were in very good shape. Tips were solid and they weren't warped at all. Put my personal cue to the test. Bridges were carefully, and respectfully placed back in their holder on each table. For the one shot I used it for, it was perfect. • Food & Drink: Drinks came quick and tasted great. My usual Pepsi with grenadine didn't disappoint. Food came quickly as well. The mozzarella sticks were crispy and worth every penny. The chicken strips we ordered were good as well. • Darts: Not Reviewed. However, Fargo Darts was playing and they seemed to be having a good time. • Wait-Staff: Friendly, courteous, and respectful. Multiple members of the staff came by to talk to us and ask us how we were doing throughout the hour we were there. • Music and Crowd: Friendly people throughout the venue, and music was through a jukebox that you could hook your phone up to. Thanks TouchTunes! • Atmosphere: Dimly lit, yet just perfect so that the tables all seemed to be their own little oasis.
Would I recommend this place to a friend? Yes. Will I be visiting again? Yes.
Moorhead Billiards: With food that's just right and tables that are in great shape, they definitely put other halls in the area and state...

The building itself has personality, and the people inside give it soul. This is where champions were shaped—the same crucible of competition that molded a young Shane Van Boening—and it’s still the forge where new players, new contenders, and future champions are being made.
Friday night split-bracket tournaments are the heartbeat. Beginners get a fair proving ground in the lower bracket, while advanced players battle in the upper. It’s growth by design, and it works. I know because I’ve lived it. Coming here from a small-town league where I thought I was a phenom, my ego was checked at the door. Seasons later, I’m still being tested, still inspired, and still learning.
The crowd is welcoming, the food is solid, and the atmosphere is built on respect, grit, and passion for the game. Every night here sharpens your skills and your character.
Moorhead Billiards is more than a place to play pool—it’s culture, legacy, and community under one roof. Step inside and you’ll see why the regulars are proud to call this place their home, and stompin grounds. Go Visit. You won't be...

Unfortunately, I've never been enamored with the service. Was in there the other night, server took our order and brought our beer out. We never heard from her again. The cook brought out our food(which hasn't been a normal occurrence in the past) and that was it. It wasn't busy, we were sitting in the bar area so it's not like she just didn't make it to our table helping other people. Our drinks sat empty and we made attempts to get her attention which she ignored. We had to flag down another bartender to grab our check after waiting ~20 mins. She was nice and attentive, I think she could tell we were annoyed. The whole time our server was standing around talking behind the bar and at the jukebox. Really poor service. Maybe it's because we aren't regulars, but I will have to think long and hard about ever going back. Pretty disappointing as I like having this neighborhood option and it seems to have so...
