Krepps Park — Attraction in Morgantown

I give four stars instead of five because I stopped here during a drive through Morgantown with my two-year-old hoping to get her out of the car and on some play equipment. When we arrived, the park was beautiful and clean however despite the pictures on Google, there was no play equipment as they were in the process of building a new play area. It was a disappointment, however we made do by walking around the trails and enjoying the scenery. There is a beautiful flat spot next to the flowing creek that would be amazing for a summer picnic. Very large park with lots of room for many dogs. There are many benches to sit on, and there are lots of trees so you're able to sit on and enjoy the shaded benches if you'd like. There is water and there are free toys (frisbees, some balls and ropes) for the pups as well. There are a few trials around the park that are nice to walk on as well. There's also a small creek right behind the gated park if you want your pup to cool off. Overall, a very nice, clean, relaxing place. Love the trail and this park. They just installed a new splash play place for kids. It looks like a pirate ship. The park is peaceful place to escape town but convenient so we go all the time. The trail is an beautiful walk in nature. They have a dog park to let your fur babies play too and the playground for the kids. The only issue I found is the women's bathroom doesn't lock and it smells funky and there is no place to get a drink no pop or water machine not even by the pool area.
