I have had a horrible experience buying a bike from RCC. Their loyalty seems to be with their SRAM and Specialized reps because they will go to great links to avoid summiting a warrantee claim with Specialized or SRAM. In April of this year I bought the Athos Pro with SRAM Force components from RCC. The first ride on this bike the chain dropped off the front chain ring. This issue was brought to RCC's attention immediately and well within the 30 day window of owning this bike, however, there has been no resolution to the chain dropping off my bike. After 20 chain drops later and numerous visits to RCC I finally convinced RCC to reach out to SRAM who did warrantee the front detailer. This unfortunaly did not resolve the issue. After more frustration RCC finally decided that I should send my bike to Colorado Springs to have the SRAM rep fix the issue. SRAM had my bike for 17 days and after I got the bike back the chain dropped after on my second ride. SRAM has yet to comment on their inability to fix the issue and RCCs response was that SRAM doesn't have a warrantee, that I am past the 30 day shop warrantee and I should take it to another shop. I specifically picked RCC because I wanted to support a small local bike shop. What I learned from this experience is supporting a small bike shop doesn't mean that customer satisfaction is important to them. The reality is RCC does not have the resources, troubleshooting skills to quickly address a major issue, or the integrity to stand by the quality of their bikes. I would think twice about buying a...
Read moreI have been shopping for over a year for a new bike, until last week. I went to many big name places in the Denver area. The places I thought I'd be treated well, I was treated bad or not even greeted. I couldn't find a bike that either fit me, or fit my budget.
I stopped into RRCC and was immediately greeted with a smile and some very helpful information that helped me purchase a new bike. I ended up purchasing a beautiful Pinarello Paris AXS.
I was professionally fitted by the owner, Scott. The overall fitting took around an hour, and my new bike is dialed into my measurements. The next day, I took the bike on a long ride and completely felt great afterwards, mostly because I was properly fitted on the bike.
I've recommended RRCC to my friends who are also looking for a new bicycle. I recommend anyone looking for a bike to...
