Red Rocks Beer Garden in Morrison, CO is hands-down one of our favorite spots to visit, and it’s easy to see why. The beer selection is incredible—there’s truly something for everyone, whether you’re a craft beer lover, a local brew enthusiast, or just looking to try something new. On top of that, they offer more than just beer, with plenty of options to keep everyone happy.
The service is phenomenal—everyone we interacted with was so welcoming and genuinely wonderful, which made the whole experience even better.
Now let’s talk about the pizza. I actually had to prove to my husband that it wasn’t made in-house because it tasted that good. It’s technically frozen, but you would never know—it was absolutely delicious and one of the best surprises of our visit.
The location couldn’t be better, sitting right next to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. It’s the perfect stop before or after a show, or even just on its own if you’re in the area. Between the atmosphere, the service, the drinks, and that unexpectedly amazing pizza, Red Rocks Beer Garden has earned a permanent place on our list of...
Read moreComically bad food and even worse service. Good spot for a beer though.
They had no trouble taking our order, and even spun the tablet around for a "few short questions". 20%, if you must know.
By the end of our ~1 hour wait for hummus and pretzels, camaraderie had built among the only 3 tables in the quiet garden; all waiting for food that we feared would never come. Alas, the food arrived, worse than we could have possibly imagined. Our pizza was served on a circle of cardboard box, not even trying to hide it's recently frozen past life. Our hummus, hastily pulled from the fridge when I reminded them we had ordered it, came in a plastic souffle cup, lid on. The pretzels delivered in a cardboard boat with another cold souffle cup of hardened ballpark cheese. Our hunger ruled us, we ate.
An employee came by with profuse apologies, blamed his coworker who had apparently forgotten all of our orders, gave a free beer and some discount coupons "in case you actually come back". Next time we'll stop in for a cold beer armed with our stack of coupons. No food...
Read moreThis is how you do a Beer Garden!! - all of the beer was local (mostly small local Colorado brewery's) and the beer choices were varied so you can get the "style" you like. The multiple patio's and comfortable inside lounge area were done correctly. Very beer knowledgeable staff. Having helped opened a nano-brewery in Colorado, and currently helping another small brewery in North Carolina, I really appreciate their thoughtfulness, support, and choice of local beers (yes, and for you non-craft beer folks, they do have Coors on tap, if you would rather have a pale lager). Oh, they also serve wine, and have a limited, but nice food selection (how can you not have their 3 baked mini-pretzels with spicy mustard AND queso cheese dip). This is one of the best thought-out Beer Garden's in Colorado. Highly recommend visiting here, if you are going down C-470 or want to hang somewhere before a Red Rocks concert, or just need some relaxing "down-time" while enjoying a well crafted beer - Head...
