VIP NAILS Chapel Hill Road — Attraction in Morrisville

AMAZING! This is one of the best nails salons I have ever been to. I moved to North Carolina almost a year ago and I haven’t seemed to find the right salon for me. After the experience I had with Eric at VIP Award Winning Salon, I would never go anywhere else.

They do NOT do acrylic nails, but instead they use Eric’s very own designed nail extension! It’s called the “Veneer 21” Based on 21 years he’s been in the nail industry and 2021, the year he will be releasing this idea/product. This product is not damaging to the nail and actually helps it grow! They are so thin on top of the nail and they look so natural. I have had these on for almost three weeks now. Since they are so thin there is no “bump” that you would get usually with acrylics. You can barely see them grown in after three weeks! You may be thinking “are they so thin they will break” NO! They have not chipped or broke off at all. My mind is completely blown with this product.

Also, something that was crazy to me. They do not use any nail drills in their salon. They use a more “gentle technique” They are all about making sure they do not damage your natural nail.

They used to have a good service but not anymore.

The person working there had dirt under their nails, which made me worry about hygiene of the place, and he wanted to remove my old nail polish by putting my whole hands in the bowl full of acetone which was really painful and irritated my skin, then he continue to ignore me and played on his phone right in front of me singing something in his native language like i wasn't even there.

I just wanted to get out of there but they said they will charge me 10$ for 'used product' acetone I guess and a strip of aluminum wrap that you can get a whole roll from a dolar store, so I said that will stay if a different person will do my nails.

A different man finished my nails but started asking me rude and personal questions, that felt like I am being interrogated and arguing with me the entire time about the things he had no idea about.

Overall really awful experience, bad atmosphere and bad energy of that place. I really regret going there and spending 45$ to experience all that stress and rude, unprofessional behaviour. "Vip" nails salon ? I don't think so, quite the opposite, they will make you...

I've been coming to VIP Nails for the past 10 years, first from Chapel Hill and now Pittsboro, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Eric and Lan run a wonderful family-owned business. They and their staff are all professional, talented and up-to-date on the best products and techniques to keep your nails healthy and looking amazing! They are are down-to earth and definitely make me feel like one of the family.

Eric's focus is on keeping your nails healthy, while making sure that they look fantastic. To that end, Eric created his own Veneer 21 product and technique to use for manicures that protects your nails. My nails are healthy, and my nail fill and polish easily last for 3 weeks. I've never received as many compliments as I do now!

Lan now only does a fantastic job on nails, but she gives the most absolutely amazing pedicure. I definitely look forward to being pampered during my relaxing pedicure appointments!
