Went in just a moment before close just to get my son a quick funko on my birthday but the minute we walked in and barely started to look real fast we were yelled at by a lady from the register “sorry guys we’re closing up ok bye!” My son was sad he couldn’t grab anything and I had to tell him sorry we have to go. The worker lady isn’t in a good mood tonight. The thing is they still had two people in the store grabbing last minute items. I’ve been there lots of times and had someone else let us grab something real fast before they were about to close and he had great customer service and was extremely nice. But the lady tonight was just not having it. Read moreI called two weeks before the release of Final Fantasy 16, to confirm if there was a release event for my preorder. I was told "No, I don't think we're doing any events for the rest of the year".
A week later, I get a call informing me that there actually is going to be a release event, at 7 PM on the 21st (I even double checked it, 7 PM seems like a weird time for those events).
I show up to the store at 7 tonight, and the store is locked up. I think "oh, she must have meant 9, since that's when the game releases". I left and came back, and sure enough, the store is still locked closed. I waited a bit, watched as other cars pulled up and left.

Read moreI don't like how the staff go to one customer then leave that customer and go to the next customer. They don't help finish helping one so I think they should get some new people to work here and then try and tell a customer that the Internet isn't working right. I feel like they need people who are willing to treat customers with respect and not just ignore customers. I really hope that GameStop learns that customer service is everything and that my boyfriend and I have been waiting before other customers show up so thank you GameStop for making customers...
