I never give 1-star reviews. I took off a star for each time I had to come back to fix the same problem, and the last star for the general unfriendliness and dismissiveness of the staff. Let me say this first, their whole goal is to get you to buy a new screen. Every time I went in, they basically ignored me and my description of symptoms and scoured the screen for scratches. They claimed that any tiny little scratch could cause the whole screen not to function. That may be true, but three days after I bought the screen that cost more than the phone, the same problem reoccurred. It turned out that they only had to plug the screen back in (so you lose a star). Another star for four the next time, also a scouring of the screen telling me I had to get a new one (they said nothing about the fact THEIR screen and THEIR work were still under warrantee). I insisted, please just open it up and plug it back in. That worked for about a month. I went back a third time and they finally admitted they don't really have the expertise and sent me to the Kenosha location. Go to Kenosha! Justin and Doug worked really hard and did everything under the warrantee and even bought me a case to hold my screen in place and keep it from being unplugged. I never got the impression I did @ Racine that their whole business depends on selling as many screens as possible. I'd happily pay $20 to come in and have a pro plug the screen back in and just glue it back in place. The guys in Racine never even bothered to try and power it up. Read moreRick, Pablo were lifesavers almost literally, and figured a way to save my pictures that others were not able to do. And with fantastic customer service. The couldn't have been nicer and more understanding.
When my phone dropped and was beyond repair and seeing anything on the screen, Verizon could save and transfer text messages and contacts to the replacement, but not the pics. They were not backed up although I was sure that I had been in once or twice to make sure they were.
I simply could not lose 2 years, 2000 pictures of family, friends, birthdays, special occasions, holidays, my photography, photo projects that I had been working on for a year. That is what it was looking like would happen until Rick, Pablo came along and saved the day.
Verizon could not help out and neither could one repair place I went to. But Rick, Pablo had a neat, creative solution and got every last picture recovered---without having to repair the old phone!! And the cost was so reasonable, fair. Rick, Pablo even gave me a generous break on the price.
So I am telling you if anything ever goes wrong with your cell phone, stop before getting a new one or a replacement. and give Rick, Pablo a chance to see what they can do.

Read moreThese guys are great. Ricardo rocks. I'm kinda older, so technology isn't my strong suit. I remember watching the Apollo moon landing on our black and white TV. Things have moved fast in technology since then. Before I knew it ,TV's were in color, and all cars had air conditioning in them, which did not involve rolling down the windows.
So under much duress, I got a smart phone. And I love it. But... I got a new phone now, the screen broke on the other one. My kids never call or come over, my VCR is still blinking 12.00, they said they would help me. But I needed help with setting up a new phone.
So I stopped in at Smart phone repair center for some help. It's very easy to get to, right on the corner of Green Bay Ave, and highway 20. I'm a slow learner so I had to stop by a couple times, and each of the guys here helped me greatly.
They treated me with respect in explaining and setting the phone up for this old guy. So if you want to get a smart phone, but technology kinda scares you, when you get a phone, stop in here and they will set it up for you, and be there to help you. Unlike the kids who are too busy even to call,...
