Red Door Antique Mall — Attraction in Mount Vernon

Horrible customer service. I used to get there props for my food photography but I will not go there anymore. There are lots of antique malls with much nicer customer service. The lady didnt have price tags on the merchandise and when I asked for the price she said she doesnt know she needs to message someone to find out the price. It's like I've got all the time in a world to sit and wait for when she gets the price. Isn't that your job to have prices on so people who come dont have to wait untill you figure out the price. Anyways, service like that drives me nuts so not my kind of store anymore. P.S. I got those nice spoons there for my ice cream photography. My husband and I have come here 3-4 times, and each time the staff has watched us suspiciously like we're criminals for no apparent reason. It's like as soon as we walked in, we would be glared at. I don't know if they think it's suspicious because we're younger and are looking at antiques (we're in our early 20s, and most of the customers are in their 50s or up, from what we've seen) but we're not treated that way when we visit other antique shops in downtown Mount Vernon.

We no longer want to come here because of how criminalized they make us feel. When we go shopping in the downtown, we pass up this store and have fun exploring the multiple other antique shops available just...

I had a very disturbing account of trying to visit this store today. We brought our small elderly ShihTzu with us in her covered pet stroller. Upon entering, the sales lady started yelling at us that dogs were not allowed & no exceptions or question us if she was a service dog. She then continued to tell us that she would NEVER bring a dog into a store. Our dog has gone into all types of stores before in her stroller with no issues. I tried to explain that because she is elderly & we'd driven a distance, we could not leave her home. She is 15 & has traveled in her stroller since & loves it. We will never shop this store again! Horrible & rude...
