I can't say anything about the corporate office. My comments reflect our experience at the newest addition - Garden Roslyn.
My fiancé and I were in Burlington for his daughter's wedding. We decided to check out the Tulip Festival while we were there. We chose Garden Roslyn primarily because of the pond with the ducks and geese as well as the walking trails that emphasized this feature.
It took us some driving around to find the correct location. It was not clearly marked that you needed to drive through a grassy field to reach the Garden. We looked for the address, which was attached to an abandoned house behind some tall shrubs adjacent to the field.
When we finally did make it to the parking area and went to pay for our admission, the only person on duty was a young man who did not speak any English and had to use his phone to figure out how to accept our card for payment. He had no clue about the pond.
What we did see of the flowers was very pretty. They weren't just planted in rows, but rather in groups and were accented by various decor items. Some of the flowers were planted to surround a tree and this I found to be visually pleasing. I also enjoyed the various colors as well.
The pond did indeed have ducks and geese. It was completely separated by a fence around and some overhead barriers as well. While I understand it is important to protect the birds from people (and the people from the birds. Let's face it - some geese can be downright vicious), it would have been nice to get closer for some nice pictures.
On this particular day, we did not stay long as this was a very limited, albeit beautiful, display because the weather turned nasty with the wind (it had been warmer and sunny earlier that day) and we barely made it back to the car in time to avoid the heavy rain.
Personally, I found $25 to be a bit high priced for this exhibit. I would not choose to...

This is an overpriced tourist attraction. I’ll give them credit in that the tulips are indeed beautiful, but sadly, it’s one of those experiences that look better on picture than in real life.
There is a shaded garden that is really nice to look at towards the exit, but all in all, this is an attraction that will take no longer than 30 mins to walk through, if that.
I also got the impression from their website that there would be lots of activities for the kids, and that it would have a festival ambiance. (Which is why I thought the ticket price would be worth it). That’s just simply not true, however. There was no music, no activities, and the food options were laughable. It’s a big stance with hot dogs ($11.50) & burgers ($15.50). You cannot sit anywhere, so you would be paying restaurant prices to eat around lots of dirt. Not the most enjoyable place to eat. Good thing that there is a Costco really close by from this location.
All in all, I enjoyed my visit, but I’m SO glad I came on a Tuesday, and there wasn’t traffic, nor a big line to go in, cause that would have made it not worth it at all. Overall, I don’t recommend it, unless your main purpose is taking pictures.
TL; DR you will pay $17 - $20 JUST to look at the tulips, which will hopefully look nice (no refunds if they haven’t bloomed, or they have withered). There are no other attractions provided, no activities for kids. Food options are too expensive, and likely...
Read moreI wish I could give this zero stars as this was the worst "festival" I've ever been to. We should have done more research on this before sitting in hours of traffic, just to get to the small venue and see that we were going to have to wait in an hours long line just to get in
The tickets were reasonable at around $16 a person (online), but the food and beverage prices were insane! There was only one vendor, so you had no real choice between a $10 plain hotdog or a $15 cheeseburger, a bag of plain lays chips, and an empty condiment stand.
There was a small crowded shop of overpriced tchotchke, and a tent where you could buy flowers, which I would assume were also way overpriced.
The fields of flowers were beautiful, so I'll give them that, but it was all set up for an Instagram influencer's wet dream. It was elbow to elbow of people taking hundreds of pictures of themselves, so it was hard to even enjoy the flowers themselves without being pushed out of the way.
I feel like I'm being overly cynical, but this was absolutely not worth the time or the money, and I would not recommend it to...
