The XC pass is a great value if you can ride more than one day. Prospect is a must; it takes about 90 minutes and had some fantasizing single track. Then there's Tommy Knocker which a long flowing descent with some great jumps that won't scare beginners. Probably the best trail if you're riding real bikes that need to be pedaled uphill.
If you're up for adventure, ride Prospect to Magic Meadows, which shoots you out to a highway above Telluride. You then descend on asphalt and ride a single track back through the valley. Budget half a day for that one

We enjoyed the trails once we found them with the exception of the basin “trail”. I was disappointed that I was not warned that this would be a big climb on an access road.
