When I plan a visit to Telluride I think about Gorrono Ranch. This is our lunch time meet up location (skier only access at mid mountain) I literally crave Gorrono Ranch lunches from my home in Arizona! Recently diagnosed Celiac, I cried when I thought I wouldn't be able to go there anymore but, as usual, Telluride delivered excellence once again! Goronno Ranch can produce amazing gluten free food, the chef suggested dry rub ribs (no sauce), baked beans and fried my fries in a dedicated gluten free frier and lunch was AWE INSPIRING. My second GF lunch was a cheeseburger (no sauce) but not just any cheeseburger, it was cooked to perfection and mouthwateringly delicious again served with fresh GF fries and baked beans on GF bun (so so on the bun). The Heinz kechup they serve is also GF. My only complaint is they replaced the genius rotisserie chicken with smoked chicken & while my family said it was good, it wasn't the chicken we had been looking forward to all year.
