Poachers Pub — Restaurant in Mountain Village

Completely upset with the owner for lack of integrity. Set an event for my daughter's post-wedding party. Spoke to 2 other people before him (last fall and over Thanksgiving), confirmed the date with Adam in Janaury and we left it saying we would connect with the restaurant on food in April/May. Spoke to him today and said that he was booked for another private party. Said he must have gotten us mixed up! Will NOT support any business that has such a lack of integrity and business ethics. If you're looking for a late-night meal or any good service, I wouldn't bother with Poachers Pub. The food was terrible, as whoever was running the fryer decided there was no limit on how long you should cook something. Everything was fried to the center, and the fish portion was laughable. It seemed like they took on a single piece of fish and split it to claim it as "three." The bartenders were most likely drunker than the patrons that they were serving.
