Of all of the places my family and I visited over the weekend, the Horseshoe Falls and Gift Shop was by far the most friendly and accommodating. We got rained out of an evening viewing, and they gave us a raincheck for the following day, and certainly didn't disappoint. The ladies in the gift shop were amazingly friendly, engaging and absolutely charming with my children. A pre-schooler and 1st grader on a whirlwind weekend trip can be pretty exhausting, and the staff charmed them back into a happy mood within seconds. The "gnome hunt" was a perfect accompaniment to the waterfall and springs viewing and the girls loved it. As parents, we chuckled as the girls tried to pronounce the Gnome names and then chuckled again as we actually read them. The trails were extremely well maintained, the bridges were sturdy and while not "long" the walk was quite enjoyable. For around $35, the attraction was modestly priced and I'd say a good value. The gift shop was typical and well stocked with local items and trinkets. And there is also hand packed local ice cream.....never forget the ice cream. Definitely recommend a stop at the Horseshoe Falls!!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting this stunning location and I must say, it truly took my breath away. The Horseshoe Falls and its accompanying gift shop exceeded all my expectations, making the small entry fee well worth it. The surrounding grounds were meticulously maintained, enhancing the beauty of the falls even further. It's an absolute must-see if you find yourself in Munising, Michigan. Speaking of the gift shop, it was a delightful experience in itself. Not only did it offer a wide selection of local trinkets, but it also showcased a range of unique gifts that you won't easily find elsewhere. I was thoroughly impressed by the variety and quality of the items available. If you're looking for a special memento or a one-of-a-kind present, this shop comes highly recommended, just like the falls themselves.

Skip this one. There are several different falls to see in the area for FREE, and this one is not worth the $6 per person they charge. The entire area is filled with really ugly gnomes - maybe cute for kids, but they are more likely to terrify them. There are also several ugly signs that look like a child hand painted them and they really ruin any chances of taking a nice picture. There isn't anything to indicate they charge until you get nagged by someone in the gift shop that you have to go through to get to the falls. The gift shop items are overpriced as well. I wouldn't have paid for it but my spouse had already paid before I knew about it. It's such a short walk to the falls that it's not even worth the price for a nice hike. Ridiculous.

This place is worth the visit! Yes, there are a bunch of free Waterfalls you can visit in the area, but something about the little shop, the beautiful walkway, and the fun you can have inside the park they have created is almost magical! First, the gift shop. The gift shop serves Ice Cream and a few other snacks. They also have a wonderful selection of souvenirs and clothing for purchase. The staff has always been kind to us, every time we visit! There is so much to see and do here! You can do Gnome bingo as you walk around, feed the fish, have a picnic. I feel like this is a great place to bring the kids since there is so much going on. And BEST of all, they allow pets! Which is always an extra star in my book!

This is one of the better gift shops in the area, in my opinion. It's very new age but also has the typical tourist souvenirs as well. The woman working here is so kind, I spent some time talking with her about the falls and the area. I don't think the $10 is exorbitant, look you're on vacation, you're going to be spending some money. Plus, you can end up having the falls all to yourself which is nice. It's actually the best waterfall in the area, so I think it's worth it. The grounds are gorgeous, there's a duck pond, a garden, a billion gnomes, and different types of tress with informational signs about them. This was the best stop for me in the Munising area.

A wonderful place to buy T-shirts, hats, wide selection of coffee mugs, knick knacks, ice cream and many other types of things you'd find in a gift store. Easy to get to but tucked back in a neighborhood right where the Falls is. You have to pay $8 to see The Falls which we did not. But the gift store provided us the opportunity to pick up some things we needed for friends and family. This quaint little shop was well-organized and had quality merchandise. The owner was friendly and helpful. We visited a few times. We went back the second time because they had the best selection out of all the places we stopped.
