⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — A Hidden Gem Fueled by Faith and Great Coffee!

A few weeks back, I was riding my motorcycle through Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula on a trip from Maryland and stopped overnight in Munising. The next morning, I went searching for some good coffee and came across Rustic Grounds Coffee Trailer.

As I looked over the menu, I saw a variety of great options and asked if I could make a small tweak to one of their specialty lattes — no hesitation, no problem, they made it happen! When I took that first sip… wow. Smooth, balanced, and genuinely one of the best lattes I’ve had. I’ve traveled all over the world, and this little coffee trailer easily holds its own among my favorite stops. Top 10? Maybe not, but definitely my top favorite in the UP! (I’m originally from the UP, born and raised in.)

While enjoying my drink, I noticed the cup had the outline of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with the words “Fueled by Jesus & Coffee.” That made me smile. Then I saw the T-shirts hanging on a wall by the side of the trailer featuring Bible verses and faith-inspired designs — such a great touch!

This place is more than just a coffee stop; it’s a reflection of love, faith, and community. If you’re ever in Munising and want amazing coffee while supporting a small, family-owned, Christian business — Rustic Grounds is absolutely the place to go. I’ll definitely be back when I ride through...

10/10 recommend!!!! This place is seasonal and only open during the summer months. It is the best place ever gotten coffee from. Im so sad during the winter when its closed. The most amazing and lovely/friendly service. Best coffee. They have a punch card. Every 10 drinks you order and use the punch card, your next drink its free. I just went through 3 punch cards in about 2 weeks (I may have a slight problem 😅) I was buying for others too, not always just myself lol. My favorite part about ruer drinks it that they are drinkable as soon as you get it. Its still really hot and fresh but its not boiling like lava and you have to wait an hour before you can even sip it. Best coffee in town! I recommend the hot campfire smores coffee. Super delicious. They also stated having bobba this year which my daughters love. They have 2 flavors. Blueberry and strawberry. That's a huge hit with the younger crowds. And they have fizzy fun iced summer drinks that my kids love and you can add the bobba to it and they have the big bobba straws. Its just the coolest place in town to get...

I went here because ot feels just wrong to go somewhere without trying the local coffee scene, and already Michigan is one of the states I find has consistently among the best local coffee shops wherever I stop, but even with such a high bar this place is still amazing.

It's a cute and cozy little setup with a nice relaxed atmosphere for enjoying your coffee while also enjoying just being outdoors in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. On top of that, the coffee and food are wonderful. I had a Black Bear (I ordered based on the name, black bears are among my favorite animals) and may or may not have stolen some of my sister's breakfast pie (I plead the 5th) to confirm it's one of the best breakfasts I've ever had from a coffee shop. Definitely don't pass through Munising without checking...
