Upper Peninsula Inspired — Restaurant in Munising

Husband and I visited last September for our anniversary and the tasting was great! The gentleman was very helpful and knew his stuff! I ended up buying 6 bottles total, 4 of Happy Place because it was the best wine I've had yet! I ended up giving a bottle to my mother who said it was sour and bitter (which is the complete opposite of what it really is) and so I opened one of my bottles...same, it was very sour and bitter. I believe I purchased a bad batch as I look at the remaining 2 bottles and there is so much sediment floating throughout the bottle. (See attached pictures) I've called multiple times with no answer and so now I'm trying to reach out and have these 2 bottles replaced. Please let me know how to proceed with a solution. 10-30-23 Hello, I sent these back on 10-2 and shiw they were delivered on 10-4. I don't have social media and so when I Google the business it states temporarily closed. Because I paid for this, can you please advise that these bottles were received and I had new bottles...

If you're looking for Michigan drinks and a large bourbon selection, this is the place! My husband and I visited 3 times within a 5 day span and had something, several somethings, new each time. We wine and bourbon tasted mostly. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Everyone was attentive and made sure we had what we needed or wanted. If you get the chance, talk to Bill the owner. He is the source of knowledge as we talked about bourbon for the last hour they were opened, and easily could've continued. My husband and I learned so much more from talking to Bill here in a small winery than we ever expected. The locals are very friendly and even the gift shop had a lot! What a great experience! In a town where you can find food and no bar, or bar and no food, this place hit the mark! Not only a tasting room for wine, beer and bourbon, but a full craft cocktail experience. Carol and Heidi were fun and informative, and created perfect custom cocktails. The food truck (Superior Sizzle) just outside provided a perfect answer to our search for food and beverage in one place. Delicious whitefish and shrimp, plus a nice assortment of other choices. They feature local beer, wine and liquors and also sell many of these in their retail store. All in all a great and fun experience!...
