Played on Wednesday afternoon before the twilight rush. I'm visiting from out of town and was going to share clubs, was told I couldn't and would have to rent clubs. Ok, not too bummed about that. Next issue was rented a cart and after paying and picking it up was told that we could only drive on the cart path. Ok so if it had just rained and the course was wet I totally understand, but the course was dry and there was no reason why we had to stay on the path the whole time, plus the course condition wasn't that great so not sure what they were trying to maintain. I would have carried my clubs had this been disclosed to us from the get go. Additionally, the "driving" range was irons only which kind of defeats the purpose. All the greens were in poor condition with a lot of holes. Next, we kept getting rushed by the course attendant even though we were playing quick and basically playing ready golf so we wouldn't back up the group behind us. We might have delayed them two holes but we created plenty of space after that. Still they kept harassing us even though it wasn't our fault that they prohibited driving in the grass for no apparent reason. I would have understood on a weekend but this we a wed early afternoon and there is no reason to rush your paying clients on a day like this. Overall customer service was poor and the rates were way too high for the poor experience. I've played courses in Hawaii that cost half the price, great customer service, and in amazing condition. Very disappointed, Murfeesboro...
Read moreThis was my first time playing at this course and I now know why. I scheduled a tee time for 2 at 12:51pm today and while we were teeing off the course manager decided to add a player to our game making us a 3 some. Now me personally, I don’t play golf with people I don’t know. Call it what you want but this is my time that I paid for to enjoy the experience of a game with my friends. I called the pro shop to explain my situation and was informed “there was nothing that they could do for me”, so I explained that I would come up with my own solution. Apparently they didn’t like that so they sent this Jimmy Neutron looking man in a tilt-a-wheel cart to then hassle me about why I didn’t want to play with a stranger. I explained the easiest solution was for him to mind his own business and let us carry on. This idiot then acted like an angry child and told us we could get our money back and leave. I have never had anyone added to my golf game against my wishes and honestly it goes against every reason I go play golf. If you love playing golf with your friends with no violation of your freedom of choice, DON’T PLAY HERE! “OLD FART GOLF COURSE” is not for me. This place sucks! The Managment sucks! And we will never be back here again!
*1 thing I will say, this is the first golf course to offered a vegan, gluten-free, oil free snack. Thanks for...
Read moreMy boyfriend loves golf and has been playing at other locations. As an anniversary present I bought his and our two friends rounds. Unfortunately this was an awful experience. They had arrived an hour early as to hit range balls. The first issue that was had was it was never expressed that the grass was getting aerated before the party arrived and the rounds were paid for. Next there was no description of the driving rang being short until the rounds were again paid for. Once finally able to play at their scheduled time the group was being rushed through the course by course staff. I personally heard this as at one point I was on FaceTime listening to the employee talk to the group. They even showed me the gps screen where the system was advising them to play quickly. Even after being rushed out of the club house for taking a break to eat and get a drink there were overall massive issues with this location. They were still confused because there were no others playing behind them.
To summarize they did express how beautiful the course was, but due to the staff at this location they could not...
