Murfreesboro Escape Rooms (Stones River) — Attraction in Murfreesboro

UPDATE: 5/19/24: we came back to redeem ourselves in the Movie Theater and we killed it this time! Cassie was an incredible hostess!

UPDATE: 3/5/23: we just did Murfree Manor and it was a total blast!!! Super challenging, but tons of fun. We managed to finish with only minutes to spare! Our game master, Sean, was an absolute delight to work with. 25/10, I still recommend checking this place out!!!

The guys working there were super chill, helpful and very friendly. This was the first escape room we’ve ever completed successfully; it was an engaging challenge that (for the most part) we were able to work through without hints. Escape room setting was super cool, highly interactive and there were all kinds of wicked secrets and unique ways you had to explore. 15/10, try this place out!

Update 8/7/22: we came back to do the Game Museum and it was fantastic! Maddie was our game master and she was absolutely lovely. This escape room was super fun and we also managed to finish in time! 16/10, come check this place out if you haven’t already!

My husband and myself along with another couple ventured over to Locked: Escape Game Murfreesboro for some double date night fun. We were able to navigate the website and booking capabilities with ease. We were able to find exactly what we wanted for our room and level of skill. We got to Locked about 15-20 mins before our scheduled time to be there. We were met with great energy at the door. We were greeted and waivers handled swiftly. We had an incredible GameMaster by the name of Beth. She welcomed us to the establishment. She was fun and very comfortable with her role of the experience. She took great care to ensure our experience would be the best it could be. She took in consideration that my husband and I had been to an escape room before, but our double date hadn’t. She was great to explain all the things but also allow us the full experience of getting our head into beating this puzzle and getting out! A great time was had by all! The room we used had "technical difficulties". The host couldn't see us, and we had to scream for clues. We wasted half our time on one puzzle that was correct - but because this place is so technology based it did not register because we didn't have the pieces perfectly centered on the pedestals. This escape room feels more expensive than others in the area, and seems way more janky. I would not recommend. I feel like I wasted $30 a person to not have an actual experience since it was all super automated and not in an authentic way. I get that i am probably dumb, but losing a room because the room itself won't register our tries seems very unfair. If you're going to automate all the puzzles then maybe make sure they all work properly. I felt like everything we did we had to do it multiple times because sensors or magnets weren't functioning correctly, and if it was a room where a real person was watching then it wouldn't have mattered.
