I would NEVER recommend them again. I have spent thousands at Electronic express and after my latest experience, never again. I am so ashamed of the lack of training and management. My husband purchased a laptop Christmas 2017 which was not enough RAM for my work so I went and exchanged it for one 3 times the price, around January 12th 2018, got a MacBook Air. The gentleman that sold it to me, Harris, I believe, pitched the extended warranty to me by saying that damage/accidents were covered. He even said my kid could drop it in the tub or off a building and it would be covered. I literally ONLY bought it because he assured me of the fact that it was covered for accidents or damage, because let's face it, that is an AMAZING selling point. I did not get a paper receipt or warranty packet, only the emailed receipt which I did not think I would need to check, because I have a brand new computer and my bank statement reflected the correct amount. Well, let's fast forward to a year later. It was dropped and the computer is over heating/smells like it is burning, screen messes up frequently and it is ungodly slow. I go into the store and see the same guy, I tell him what happened and he even joked, Good thing you bought the warranty!" as he reprinted the paper proof of purchase for me. He said since it was like 2-3 weeks before the 1 year mark I would go through apple if I had the chance and after that I would be able to use the warranty. I did not have a chance to go into apple, today, a week after my 1 year anniversary of buying my MacBook, I call the same EE where I bought it (boro), they cant find a copy of my purchase any more, they tell me no the warranty does not cover accidents and unfortunately I am just out of luck but they will talk to the sales boy, I was sold a warranty based solely on him telling me that XYZ would be covered, the manager on duty said there was nothing he could do about it but he would give Harris of piece of his mind and if I wanted to come in and purchase something else to see him and he would "take care of me." I DONT want to be taken care of. I want people trained with the correct information so they don't upsell protection plans and warranties that they are misinformed about to consumers then basically say oops. I want a working MacBook and not to have wasted money on an extended warranty I cant use because the salesman gave me false information. BTW I am still paying on this computer on my credit card, so no I can't come in and buy a new one for a discount, I want the one that I purchased a year ago to be covered under the stupid warranty that I paid a chunk for under false pretenses I want the computer I spent a chunk of money on to be working and not to have wasted money putting my trust in...
Read moreI purchased a cyber power PC from them 12/10/2023 as a Christmas gift for my S/O. The purchasing experience was great. Everything was okay till about mid January when the ethernet port stopped working, but no big deal we can just do a wireless connection. That should have been my first sign to bring it back.
In March, the computer started over heating and shutting down anytime he tried to run any sort of game or program. Called electronic express to try and get it fixed under the warranty that I purchased and was told that I needed to go through the manufacturer warranty. Okay no problem. So I called the manufacturer, got my warranty info and was told I was going to have to pay to ship the PC out to California for repairs even though the computer is under what seems to be a full coverage warranty for one year. Shipping was going to cost me almost $300+ due to the size and weight of the computer.
I called electronic express back to relay all of this information to them and Jose was great with helping me submit a claim to the extended warranty company to see if they could get it covered only for the claim to be denied due to being under manufacture warranty.
So I called Cyber power AGAIN to be told that since I didn't purchase the pc through Cyber Power they would not cover the shipping costs even though the computer is covered under warranty. It's April now, the computer doesn't work, and I'm still having to make payments on it.
This whole back and forth between me having to call electronic express and then having to call cyber power went on from April 2024 till TODAY 6/12/24 and is still going on.
I keep getting the same answer from cyber power even though Electronic express keeps saying that they are working to get it covered. They never call with updates like they say they will or email, they keep giving me the run around, telling me they need this or that before they can do anything and it seems like every time I call for an update they need something new. I haven't gotten to speak with the same person twice regarding the issues so I don't even know who is supposed to be taking care of the issues on electronic express's side.
At this point I just want a refund...
Read moreI do not recommend the Murfreesboro store at all. The Appliance manager John is only nice and helpful prior to the sell. Once you have bought and paid for the appliance that is where the service stops. My wife and I purchased a 3k French Door fridge. Were told by John there was (7) in stock and that we would receive the delivery in 3-days from the Cookeville store. Was told we would receive a call the night before delivery on time frame. Never received a call. So my wife called the Murfreesboro store and was told that it was being delivered that morning between 10-1. So my wife left work and waited for over 4 hours. No one showed. When she then tried to call John on his cell that he provided saying "call any time" there was no answer and no way to leave a voicemail. She tried numerous times before giving up and returning to work. I myself then called the Cookeville store since we were told it was coming from there. No one had any of our information or could help us. So I again called the Murfreesboro Store and Spoke with John, he made me feel like I was a bother. I was then told multiple different stories as to why it was not delivered ranging from: Inventory issues, did not have enough in stock to accommodate amount sold, to the delivery guy was out sick. Then was told he would call me back in 10 minutes with more details. Never did! I called him back 45 minutes later only to be told you might get one Saturday ( almost a week away). When I said maybe i just need to get a refund he was like ok whatever if you want to drive all this way that's fine. So he did finally tell me it would be coming out of the Tullahoma store so I called the Tullahoma store and Taylor one of the managers there was more helpful than anyone else. He assured me they had one in stock and it would be at my house Saturday. Which it was. Sorry for the long review but I want to warn others. Avoid the Murfreesboro store. They seem friendly and helpful but as soon as you pay it ends! They will not deliver when promised and to get information is horrible. I would recommend going somewhere...
