Nice selection of stores. Been a favorite for decades. When was a kid used to ride my bike here. Riftgate games is awesome. Dollar Tree friendliest one around. Big spacious Walgreens with lots of food & seasonal gifts. The Marco’s pizza can make a good pizza & cheese bread. Will miss the Big lots it’s been a favorite for most of my life. The autozone is nice, clean & well stocked. New coffee place busy with good parking lot music but haven’t tried it.
Miss the Gart sports they had an awesome variety of quality & good priced athletic shoes. The travel package place upstairs was neat. It was nice when there was an Albertson’s here their deli & store brand foods were so good. Miss the Sconecutter & Scaddy’s (awesome car shows). The blockbuster video was nice it was smaller & less busy than most video stores in town in it’s day.
The gym seems busy when pass by. Went in once to look at the pool. It’s quite long & several lap lanes. Lake shore learning looks interesting would’ve loved it as a kid. It’s reminiscent of Red Balloon toy stores but more expansive. There’s a furniture store but every time go they seem to be closed.
The sewing store is very expensive & doesn’t carry handheld sewing machines. Just needed to hem some pants ankles. Their employees could definitely use some better customer service training. The other people that went in here there are rude. I held the door for her & her family entering & leaving. Both times they acted like I was rude for being a gentleman.
There’s a Chinese restaurant with decent prices. Might eat there if they cleaned their unsanitary bathroom sink. There’s another somewhat upper scale fancy restaurant here went in one time to try it after work. Had to take bus that day it was a blizzard. They treated me like I was a beggar but I wasn’t. I had money & a empty tummy that wanted a lot of food after a long day’s work before the walk the rest of the way home.
Avoid the blood plasma place here they bruised my veins & were unapologetic about it. They don’t give you juice nor snacks like other blood places do. Didn’t pay me the paltry 20 bucks even though I donated. Because I politely asked them to train their...
Read moreI found what I was after, and it isn't that far from where I live. So, that has to count for something. It didn't seem especially... err... special? However, I was able to find food for the cat, food for me, and christmas decorations for a dollar each. So, I can't really go on and on in a review about this shopping center when the standard for what I wanted wasn't all that high to begin with. That would be crazy. Right? I'm a pretty balanced person, chip on both shoulders. So, I probably ought to wrap this up before my Sweetheart asks why I'm typing a small novel into my google account. He's a pretty awesome person. That being said, I hope you have a great day, or night, or...
Read moreThis shopping center is eerily vacant. Having said that, the staple center type retailers here are excellent. My favorite is Couscous restaurant and Marco's Pizza. I also love Saver's. There is a Copenhagen furniture store with a really awesome selection of mid century modern furniture and home goods. The overwhelming amount of space seems vacant. The largest vacant portion of the strip mall is where the sports authority was. Before that it was a Gart Brothers sports. There is definitely a development opportunity here for someone with the...
