PokeBox - Plaza del Sol — Restaurant in Nags Head

I am local & eat here at least once a week. Food is incredible, and so fresh. Store is always clean and neat. I HIGHLY recommend it especially if you eat OMAD! Great consistent portions. The staff and service is AMAZING and so fast!!! Also shout out to the staff they make me feel like a movie star. (No idea how they remember my order when there are so many possible combinations!!!!

As a local I would love to see some sort of loyalty program to reward frequent flyers like me.

Would also love if there is a reusable bowl program. If I could I would just eat out of one of their silver bowls and bring it back for them to wash to save them some money and to save some plastic if I could. I know that can be tricky with certain health codes and stuff Just thinking outloud.

Their containers are awesome and I reuse them for my own leftovers or for meal prepping tho!!

First time and terrible experience with the scallops and the service. I ordered grilled scallops and the taste was really bad, I almost gagged. My husband worked as a comercial fishermen for 5 years and he tried one and he told me you are right they are bad, with all my discretion I talked to the man in charge and he denied they were bad, I wanted a portion of another protein bc I didn’t eat them, we ate 2 and my husband one. I worked in the restaurant business for a few years in New York City and you have to make the costumer happy. He should had apologize and ask me what he could do to make things better, instead he denied the scallops were bad, he was just delaying the conversation, saying they couldn’t do anything about it, instead of finding a solution and send me home happy. Definitely not coming back I worked in Poke Bowl in New York City and up there you are allowed to eat as much toppings and dressings and sides you want. After 10 min the man gave me some tofu that I asked in a dressing cup without a lid, I mean this show the quality of the service which...

Our last day of vacation we were out and saw Poke Box when we turned around in their parking lot to go back to the turn we had missed back down the road. After we turned around I told my husband we should try it for lunch on our way back up the road. We did. We both got the regular size and each had a bowl customized to our own taste. Everything was super fresh and the combination of the base, 2 proteins, 4 add ins, 4 toppings, and choice of dressing plus added on avocado, were out of this world delicious! I (we) will eat here again and again! Hope they do really well! It’s only been open about 5 months. It is owned and run by a sweet family who are super friendly and very helpful....
