Levi get your employees under control! Let me make this clear if someone screws up my instacart order and it messes with my earning because your employees want to enforce something one day but yet the same employee was there the other night when I had 2 carts filled n had no issue with my going through self check out. Not only am I faster than your employees but last time at THE SAME STORE with the SAME employee present before I started using yalls self checkout for the big orders told me to avoid anyone "foreign" looking because they don't fully understand the instacart order thing so to avoid I only go through self checkout unless the store n self check out is packed then I am not rude by taking up a self checkout register. Today there was no one at the self check out n the sa.e lady who told me to avoid anyone "foreign" to avoid mistakes n has watched me come back several times to do instacart orders and go through self check out NOW wanted to say something and didn't like I got upset. Well either you need signs stating I can't do it or I will take my 2 FULL carts through self check out and if there is a worry about theft call 911 or have your employee doing their job which is watch their hand self tablet while I scan my orders or you need to get ALL employees to understand instacart orders if you can't do that you need to be accepting of your locals who take these orders and this is their job. So that means your employees need to know THEIR JOB completely because at this point I will not be nice the next time an employee messes it up because YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN TRAINING THEM PROPERLY. Also who is paying me while your employees take their sweet time bagging orders? So your saying an empty empty like completely empty self checkout, line around are down so no need to redirect people and your employee couldn't pay attention to me bagging my order and being done faster than your employee on a register. Also I have worked for 3 different foodlions from in the office up fron to the back of the store. And let me say I am truly disappointed on how this was handled and I am disappointed on the speed of your employees who are in a tourist location either pick up the speed and make sure everyone can do their jobs properly or don't put in self check outs when your customers who know they are faster than your new employees (on top of working for foodlion for years I also been instacart shopping for 5). So I will be taking this to HR because without signs no one will stop me from going in self check out if you think I'm stealing call the cops then the point of self check out is to SELF CHECK OUT not to limit your customers when there is nothing but your word of mouth saying I can't do it. And also she said it's only enforced for the summer. No if it's enforced during the summer you need to enforce it at all times. Chaos and people getting yelled at is from people saying or letting someone do things one second then someone else or next time they come in they can't n being told by someone who allowed it before n then there's issues. š¤·āāļø I will be also calling HR and reporting the employee who is being wishy washy about it. I checked into the app and waited 20 minutes while it kept saying it was finding someone, finally it said no one is bringing out your groceries, come inside and get them. I had extremely exhausted and sleeping kids in my car so sent my 17 year old in after them. The lady yells at her that she should have been there by 9. Which was completely untrue, both the app and the time I scheduled both said arrive by 10 pm. Then she said I hope you have some ID to her and she was like, no this is my momās order she is in the car with my siblings, this is a car to go order. I had by this time just pulled up to the front door and some teenager comes out and makes it obvious the last thing he wants to do is load my car.
