Unfortunately my experience was the worst I've had thus far. I'm a first time buyer and Fred Myers was the first place I went. The gal took down information and was supposed to be ordering in things for us at a Diamond event. We had an appointment which the gal was late for and apparently nobody could access these "notes".. so we waited. During this time my fiancé and I were talking with another associate when a man barges in and tells my Fiance "your ring style is basic, and you should consider getting something else because your just like everybody else". So not only were we forgotten but also INSULTED. That is not how you talk to your customers, especially ones who were planning on buying from your store! When the original gal finally showed up apparently nothing was ordered. She then apologized and told us she would re order give us a call back on a time to come in. NEVER GOT THE CALL. It's been over a month now. I've called 3 times to get the information on what was taken to use at another Fred Myers jeweler and they refuse to give too me and insist on us coming in. WHICH WE DONT WANT TO DO. I've told them multiple times that nobody gets back to us, nobody calls, and when we go into the store nobody can check the notes? I would highly recommend TO NOT go here. I'm at another store here in Boise off of Glenwood and there AMAZING! Very respectful, and actually helpful. It's a shame that we were treated so poorly and hopefully they talk to the staff and teach them real customer service skills. If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I can only begin to stress how frustrating it is when your trying to get an engagement ring from someone who is too inadequate...
Read moreAbsolutely awful experience in every way. Bought a $2700 ring that ended up losing 3 diamonds within a year. Went to go get it sized and fixed. Had terrible experience with employees who didn't know me or my situation and didn't understand why I was upset about my wedding ring being broken within a year and we're outright rude to me, saying that it was my fault and not the fact that it was obviously poor craftsmanship. They threatened to call security when I picked up a receipt and flicked it. Then, I finally get my ring back a month later. They did not size it and when they put the three diamonds in, they broke the bridge. I was devastated. This is my wedding ring and they completely broke it. They offered to replace it with a new ring. But I didn't want the same ring because of the poor craftsmanship. They offered to give me an in-store credit but at that point I was so disappointed with my entire experience that I didn't want that either. In between all this I had more run-ins with bad customer service, one even in which the guy called my husband by my ex-husband's last name. I ended up having to go to corporate to get my money back. And they did give me my money back for the ring....three months later. However, they did not give me back the $250 that I spent on the program to fix my ring. Are you kidding me? Or any class and think this a career got to be a great employees not act like trash no education employee. So yesterday I went to pick up my med at the pharmacy and had no clue she was there she found me to bully me fight me call me nampa really She has no education or cares she is a employee of Fred meyer.
