Have used Jordan's Furniture in Nashua for eons. Selection usually good. Good enough that we usually come away happy and content. They have furnished 2 rentals and 4 of our homes through the years. We are talking thousands here folks.
Just something to remember moving forward to remember if you're taking the time to read reviews---they are a complacent company that once you purchase, the "customer care" drops off considerably. I'd go as far as to say it sucks.
We had customer furniture that they actually manufacture, and everything seemed find til we found out the down filled sofa and cushion, has zero ticking, and the back cushions that you lean on are just foam squares---and someone in the manufacturing end, before sewing up the inner lining literally reaches for a few handfuls of down feather and throws it in there. How's that for trust and quality? This is a 6k L shaped sofa with the chaise. They refused to do anything after many calls.
Fast forward---if they upset you products to accompany your purchase [i.e. higher profit add-ons], absolutely skip these. They sell you the add-on, with the selling point, that it has a "wonderful 10 year warranty"
Welp, when you have a legitimate warranty claim on said add-on, they pick you around for months stating the company they used for items has "shipping delays"
Weeks and months is go by, ZERO contact to the issue, calls always are one way, customer calling the business. So that's something to look forward to if you have an issue. When you remember the issue still hasn't been addressed, they make excuses for the company that manufacturers the piece.
You finally have had enough after months of back and forth, and this multi million dollar company and you ask for a reimbursement to make you whole, and the attitude shifts to "there's nothing that can be done"
Screw this company and it's just lack of basic customer satisfaction. They will never see a longtime customer and hopefully the review wakes others up to their practices.
I now awaiting the automated/cut and paste response that they seem to attach to every bad reviews. I got off the phone with a "customer service" representative which told us to essentially jump in the lake, why would I respond to a drone response that tells me to call them again?
Explain to me how that would help before whoever cuts and pastes the weakest of attempts to...
Read moreAt the desk and told them I needed a boxspring. There was 2 of them that I asked questions on but all she did was read the computer (which I had already done at home).She finally left me there with my 2 questions not being answered.
I went to front desk to report my complaint. A very knowledgeable manager told me she worked in another dept. I asked the mgr to help which he did immediately.
I told him which boxspring I wanted. He said “which kind of mattress did I have” I told him which kind. He said there are 2 different boxspring with the same exact name for the (Standard foundation queen boxspring.) Depending on what kind of mattress I had. He told me that the only difference is which kind of mattress I have. I told him and he helped me purchase the right bed.
I showed him on the computer that the description didn’t specify that so if I just went online myself I could have ordered the wrong one. I also told him to also report that the description name should be a bit different.
When my boxspring came it had a huge dent in it. They took a picture and showed it to someone . They had to send me.a new boxspring. So that is 2 days taking last minute time out so I could make sure I was there four delivery.
If anyone is buying it from their house they definitely might not order the correct one. I’m not sure if it went to the right dept which is why I’m telling you this.
I’m very disappointed with Jordan furniture. I have always put Jordan’s as my first place to go because it is so reputable.
I have to be honest, i will question on my next purchase if I would use you again because:
-wrong person in different dept helping me left me there without answering my question -had to complain to the mgr (which many people would not do) -find out that there are 2 box springs with same name description didn’t specify difference -name was exactly the same -huge dent upon arrival
I thought I would never experience this and I am highly disappointed. I just feel the need to advise so next person doesn’t have the same experience
