The views are awesome, the staff is super friendly, lots of amenities, and the cares team works hard to host awesome events for the residents. That's about as much as the apartment has going for it though. There are some cool residents to hang out with at the fire pits (which haven't been working for a few weeks now), but there are also reports of packages going missing, people being cat called from the balconies, and other incidents like this. When first looking into bells bluff everything looks nice but once you start looking closer you'll notice the rooms are fairly cheaply made. My shower has bits chipping off (which have cut me once or twice), the door handles are loose, switches are uneven, there's unpainted parts, and the list goes on. The maintenance team seems to respond fairly quickly but they always leave the lights on when they leave, and they'll enter without notice (came home a few times to all my lights on, even though I live alone and turn them off when I leave for work). The worst part is there is no insulation between the floors so you can hear even the lightest foot steps from the room above you (try and get a top floor if you're moving in). I've tried talking to my upstairs neighbor, getting the front desk involved, and even the security team to no avail. So don't expect too much quiet if you have upstairs neighbors (mine has a kid that stomps all day, and well into the night). I know living in an apartment complex you'll hear some of the day to day noises of your neighbors but this is absurd. There is also an issue with dog owners not picking up after their dogs, even though there are supplied dogs bags at the park (which has had a gate that has been broken for at least two months) and stations around the complex.
tldr: nice location, great view, nice amenities, and looks good but has serious underlying issues.
Edit: I feel I should follow up with how Bells Bluff responded to my reviews. I was contacted by the apartment manager who said they are working on the dog issues. They also came by and redid my shower so that was solved. Then I was offered to move to the other side of the apartment complex to the top floor which was somehow louder than my current room given that it was overlooking the highway and the deck was much smaller than my current one and had zero privacy(big selling point for me). After I said I wasn't interested in changing apartments and that the problem should be dealt with (screaming and stomping upstairs neighbors) instead of just moving me they simply stopped responding all together. I have continued to file more noise complaints and have zero feedback on what is going on. On top of all that I am now seeing people drawing on the apartments and stairwells. I am also not the only one dealing with these noise issues as other residents have also complained in the apartment chat app with no response from the management team. I cannot stress enough how poorly these apartments are ran and built.
To whoever said they're happy my issues are resolved in the response, you were fed false information. My issues were not resolved, they are simply being ignored. You were lied to.
Bottom line, avoid these apartments. For the price you will be paying you may as well just rent or buy a house. It'll be cheaper and you wont have to deal with all of...
Read moreIt has excellent outlook, friendly front desk and nice amenities. But, for me and my girlfriend, We lived there just like living on glasses floor. Whenever we walked very normally not heavily, people who live below pokes very hard at our floor( their ceiling), which happens at noon, at 9:00, at 9:30, ….at 10,30, and even midnight when we were actually lying in bed doing nothing for one hour already hearing very hard and angry knocking below. My below and below side or my side neighborhood may be all involved in. We heard quarrels and shouting 2 midnights this first week we moved in. I don’t know whom between this war actually is. We don’t knock back because we really don’t make noise on purpose, but it seemed someone did. For the first two nights, I wondered if it was earthquake, haha… We really cannot live in such a stressful environment. Btw we pay extra 100 dollar per month for being top, but it just makes things worst. We want to move out after just one week. But lease policies require a 60 days notice and one penalty, which is too high for us students to afford to ignore them. I told front desk our story. They said they need time to hear from both sides, which is very fair way I agree with that. However, We still have to live in this stressful room, I even start to control my breath unconsciously. Btw, I left notice to people below with my phone number asking if it’s our footsteps annoy, because we acted very normally so I’m not sure that knocking and “floor quake” are to us. No one calls or texts back, just angry poking. We heard these knockings so angrily that we are very scared what will happen if we walk more, which we must do to …idk, human needs walk, right? But we are really SCARED. This is a country people can hold gun. We watch Yellowstone series recently. June 16th —————————————————————-

We moved out last week, just the Third week we moved in. And we have to pay a 60-days notice (so 2 month rents, because we never consider still staying there very very carefully and fearfully) and one month penalty, like everyone else in normal situation.
We talked with their manager. She said people below us deny making noises, no knocking, no poking, and shouting and anything, AND she said it was us who make noises to bother her. And I asked if they check the time of voices records files properties. She said no, and only when we go into next law step, then her attorney will do. Oh please, just click it for seconds, then we can really figure what is evidence. I guess they know we’ll consider the costs between just leaving and hiring a lawyer. AND she said our record cannot prove someone below us making those angry and scaring noises. FINE. 🙁it’s difficult enough to catch the knocking sound, because we were awakened at that midnight. Maybe I should set camera 🙂, ridiculous. I think that’s quite impossible to get the evidence they accept.
However, we never hesitate to move out. That’s it, less than 3 weeks in Bells Bluff, paying 3 more...
Read moreLooked into Bells Bluff on a Sunday, moved in the following Wednesday. Hayden was extremely helpful and informative and made sure that everything was taken care of prior to our arrival. As someone who works in advertising and marketing I can confidently say that the customer service alone has made this entire experience one of the main reasons for moving and we are very pleased.
The amenities are great and the area being pet friendly is a huge plus. The team does a great job of keeping the premise clean and there is always more than enough parking spots. The price is also amazing. You're 15 minutes from downtown, less than 2 minutes from the Nashville West Shopping Center, and right off of 40 (don't worry, you can't hear the cars).
**My only note is that some dog owners do not pick up after their dogs, but that's not the complex's fault.

1 Year Update
Since moving I have upgraded to a two bedroom. That process was very easy and Kendrick made sure everything was ready for us.
A few things have changed over the past few months. Car break-ins and package theft has become a lot more common. I personally have lost a few important packages and have had my car broken into. The apartment complex has an officer occasionally patrolling, but people still have their cars broken into (you just won't hear about it because the complex censors the Bells Bluff app).
They've added a "hiking trail" but there are no clear instructions as to where the trail begins/ends/length. I'm assuming they'll work on it this year as it's just a messy dirt road.
The pool and clubhouse are always kept clean, but Bells Bluff consistently struggles to keep the fire pit ready for residents. Out of the 10-15 times I've gone to the fire pit, it's worked only three times. I tried asking for more clarity on when the fire pits would be ready, but my post was censored by management...
During COVID's introduction the complex did a decent job of closing down amenities and for that I am very grateful. Unfortunately, the leasing office is not the most intentional when it comes to following mask rules (they are getting better).
I believe that the new management is still adjusting to the employee changes that have taken place during 2020 and I look forward to see improvements as we start this new year.
All that to say, Bells Bluff is still a great place to live and the team is actively working to make sure the experience here is enjoyable and safe. The location still remains, in my opinion, the best and with Waffle House around the corner you really can't complain.
Also s/o to the maintenance team for being life savers...
