The place was beautiful the staff was great but the service unfortunately was not good at all I went in asking for a blowout with some curls.... that being said at 315 I was brought over to the shampoo bowl where my stylist washed my hair she was beyond gentle that I'm not sure if shampoo even touched my scalp but I still just kept going because she expressed she had just got out of school in November so as a hairdresser and color educator myself I totally understand she brings me over to her chair where she starts to blow dry my mid length curly hair with her hand I expressed to her that I needed round brush work and never once did a round brush even touch my hair. So my hair was a frizz ball and she tried to curl my hair and the curls were falling out before she got completed with the next curl I tried to help her out but she kept doing her thing (she was very very slow) at 440 I told her I had to pick someone up at 5pm and my hair was not even halfway completed so she asked for an assistant and that was a but faster but she to was inexperienced both left my curls not completed and the ends were straight and frizzy so another lady came over who really did try and help and she understood the situation a lot better but unfortunately I had to leave and my hair looked like I was in a tornado no joke. So back to the hotel I went where I had to do my own hair and I paid 60.00 for a blowout that was just awful. I will say I did tip the young girl 20 dollars because she was very very nice and did try but unfortunately she should be in an assistant program and not have her own chair her lack of knowledge speed and skill really killed it and her blow out should NOT be anywhere near 60 bucks.

From the time I made my appointment; up to the warm welcome that I recieved upon arrival, all the way through the time that I sat in the chair and started the process of a 3 hr balayage treatment... I was given the VIP treatment. The staff were very kind and attentive. Molly listened to all my concerns and really blew me away. The value for the whole experience was worth way more than I actually paid! And not to mention, Morgan who gave me the best shampoo experience of my life! She massaged my hair until I dozed off lol! The staff works so well!! You can see the team work from the moment you walk in. Let's forget the actual service that was provided! The color that I wanted to achieve was a little bit out of reach since my hair was sooooooo dark. But, I went in with the anticipation that I'm not going to gat a pinterest pic of hair on my first visit. Buuuut I did! It's not the exact color of the pic I came in with... it's waaaaay more better than I expected. Molly took my vision and did her thang!! She made me feel amazing, confident and beautiful! I'm a Breon girl for life! You have definitely earned a regular customer along with the referral of all of my co workers, friends and family! I give this salon 5 stars for cleanliness, hospitality, value of service and price. Definitely book your appointment today. You won't regret it!

Booked a month in advance. Just called to see if anything sooner opened up. Was informed Ronnie, the manager, cancelled my appointment without notifying me. Said it was because he ASSUMED I wouldn’t come in when I questioned the price. (Website says $95, quoted almost $400 at consultation) I never said I wasn’t coming in. Trevor told me to call if I decided against the appointment, all because I asked why the price was more at the consultation than online. Mind you, I was never rude, nor did I ever say I wouldn’t show up. It was a simple question. Doesn’t even make sense why that was brought to a manager, but that is the answer I was given when asking who cancelled it. Had to rebook myself. I really hope some sort of apology or explanation is given because this was either profiling or just snobby staff. *update. After asking twice for a manager to call me, Breon called. She explained her side of things but was extremely rude, probably the rudest business owner I’ve ever spoken to. She laughed when I told her the website said highlights started at $95 and assured me the website has never said that. (Picture attached) Refused to answer why they didn’t notify me of the cancellation. There was no reasoning with her, she claimed I said things that weren’t said (probably misconstrued) and was all over a displeasure to speak with.

Let me start this not so positive review by saying that this salon is modern and beautiful. It has great products, reclining shampoo chairs and the staff is attentive. Plus it's a far more convenient location than downtown or East Nashville. I booked with the stylist Amber based on her supposed tier of "expertise" and from photos of her work I saw on the salon's social media pages. I'd actually been here before about 10 years ago and had a pleasant experience with Breon herself. I did remember from talking to her during my appointment she stressed the importance of her employees staying up to date with training & trends and I genuinely believe that. However, this stylist turned out to be quite a disappointment for me. And I'm out quite a bit of $$.

I went in with nearly 100% natural hair for a balayage highlight and cut. I showed her a very clear picture of what I was wanting to achieve and told her if it wasn't attainable for me to at least get me as close to the image as possible. She said yes it would work... then proceeded with a consultation that really just confused me. While some of the questions were certainly necessary, I don't do hair so I was pretty clueless and that may well have confused her ....which is why my hair is not what I wanted(?). But seriously, I presented a clear image and said "I love everything about this hair, get me as close to this as possible!" - what more is there to say? I was hoping she would be more assertive and offer her input since again, while I did know what I had in mind, I don't do hair and I'm not artistic. Part of a stylist's job is making a client razzle dazzle, ya know??

Charged $35.00 for a toner that I didn't legit need & I don't know if it really is good for my skin (but yeah, I said I preferred warm blonde), but it'll wash out. For the record - I have never been changed at any other salon for a toner with a highlighting service and I've been around. The $50 haircut was worth about $10.00 - seriously, took about 5 minutes to simply snip off the ends. So, after spending 2 hours and $210 not counting tips there on a Friday, I left with hair that really isn't what I really wanted. But hey, at least it's not fried!!

Breon salon does have a satisfaction policy as long as you notify them within 5 days... but it has to be same stylist who corrects it and I don't know if I trust going down that rabbit hole, been there before. Honestly - if she couldn't get it right the first time (& on virgin hair), would you really want to give her...

First time visiting this salon. I was excited to get a cut and highlight. My hair needed several inches cut….The hairdresser I saw was Chloe. She was so very kind. She did a great job with the cut and highlight. [important note: it cost me $254 + a $37.95 tip—I’ve never spent that much money on ME at any time in my life and never will again]. When I left the salon, my hair had a LOT of product in it. Fast forward 2 days later and I washed my hair. Still loving the color and cut but it was a little bit longer than I was asking for. Maybe at least an inch too long. So, I called Breon’s and spoke with Kim that answered the phone. I explained to her my situation and she told me that she could set an appointment but it ā€œmayā€ cost. I said, ā€œno, no, no, I just paid almost $300 damn dollars and I’m not paying more.ā€ She then accused me of swearing at her. I told her that I was not swearing at her and then she got more defensive. So I hung up and then I called right back and she let it go to voicemail. I left a voicemail saying that I would like for Breon or Chloe to call me back, and I left my name and number. Fast-forward two days and a man calls me and ask how he can help. When I told him what happened, he then accused me of swearing at his receptionist and hanging up on her. Again taken out of context. Then he went on to say lots of people leave and want something different than what was given to them. And I told him I didn’t want anything different and that I thought Chloe did a great job only that I needed maybe an inch or more taken off, it was still too long. He was extremely rude. I asked when Chloe would be in so I could speak to her about it, but he refused to tell me. He then told me that he was Breon’s husband and and he was the one that I was going to talk to. So I told him to forget about it and to cancel my May 2 appointment that I had pre-scheduled and then he hung up on me! Who does that????? I definitely will not be going back there. I have never in my lifetime heard of a salon getting so angry when someone calls back to question anything. My fix could have been very simple. Maybe 10 minutes 15 minutes to fix it. But they made it into something that it should never have been. And they could’ve had a repeat customer but the actions of the husband and the receptionist will make me never go back, and I’ll make sure to tell all of my friends that if they’re looking for a salon to go...

I learned about Breon Hair Salon through my boss when I first moved to Nashville almost 8 years ago. My boss had been a faithful customer since he had moved to town a few years before that and always had great things to say about Breon and her staff, so I thought I'd give them a try. I have not let any other salon touch my hair since the day I walked through their door almost 8 years ago. Breon and her team have taken care of my hair, colored it many different colors, cut and styled it many different ways, and their customer service has never faltered.

What I love most about this salon is that they take the time to get to know their customers and always greet you by name as you walk in. You're always offered something to drink, you always get a relaxing scalp massage when you get shampooed, and Breon makes sure every stylist on her team is up-to-date with their certifications and educated with the latest trends in cuts and colors. Each stylist takes time to get to know your head of hair, your likes and dislikes, etc. and is open to discussion on what you want to accomplish that day. I've been using Rachel now for as long as she's been on staff (maybe 2 years now?) and I absolutely adore her. She's always very precise and thorough, is always open to new ideas, and makes me look and feel like a rock star by the time I get out of her chair. She can tell when I'm pleased and when I am not so keen on something (which is rare, because she pretty much always gets it right).

I can't tell you how many times I get complimented on my hair cut, style, and/or color almost on a daily basis...even if I haven't had an appointment in several weeks. It's all thanks to Rachel and the hard-working, AMAZING team at Breon Hair Salon. I can't wait for my next appointment and if you give them a try, you'll be saying...
