I had a disappointing experience at this particular location. The atmosphere felt sterile and hasty, and it's not a place where you'd want to spend more time than necessary. My main issue with this location, as well as the entire franchise, is their overly strict membership terms. I wanted to cancel because I witnessed their inflexible policies in action when someone tried to gift a massage to a friend. Additionally, my financial situation changed due to a medical issue, prompting me to cancel.
According to their policy, you have 72 hours from signing the contract to cancel. After that, you're locked into a year-long commitment. Despite my changed circumstances and the absence of a physical contract, I was informed that I still couldn't cancel. I had to research a template contract from a franchise in another state to figure out how to legally terminate the agreement. The staff told me that the only way to stop payments was if I lived far from a Massage Envy location. I had to provide documentation proving that my medical condition prevented me from receiving massages, which was frustrating.
I would only recommend a Massage Envy membership to those who are diligent about keeping appointments and don't want any...
Read moreThey lied, wrongfully charged me $130 (plus the over draft fees) and I can’t get anyone to call me back or help me and make it right. I had an appointment scheduled for a massage during the snow storm a few weeks ago. I called and cancelled it 2 days before the appointment bc my kids were out of school due to the storm & I had no one to watch them. I told them if something changed I would let them know & hopefully I could reschedule it. I even called the next day/the day before the appointment to confirm it was cancelled but no one answered bc they were closed (I’m assuming bc of the storm). On the day of the appointment, they called wondering where I was. I told them I called & cancelled it a few days before but if I did something wrong to use my gift card to pay the deposit for my appointment. She said “no it’s fine” and that was it. 1 week later, they charged me $130 on my debit card that I had to use to book the appointment even though I was paying with gift cards & over-drafted my account. It’s been 2 weeks & still trying to get a manager to call me back and make it right. So disappointing and frustrating. The massage that I never got, that I was using gift cards to pay for, ended up costing me almost $200 that...

I was in the area this past weekend and called to book a facial and massage. The lady on the phone Friday said she had a facial available at 5:30 and then a massage at 6:30. I get there to update forms as it’s been a while. Facial and massage was great! No complaints there. As I was getting a massage I felt like the time was longer then 60 mins, once it was done and I looked at my time it was 90 mins, I never get 90 min massage My compliant is Never once was I told it was a 90 min massage or even asked if I wanted that vs 60 mins. I mentioned it and all I got was an Oh and then she continued to tell me my total and charge me. If you call to book your appointment confirm the time frame...
