I am honestly loving working out at STRIDE! The studio location is very convenient with great parking options. The studio itself is the perfect size- not too large (and therefore intimidating 🤪) but not too small & crowded. It's the perfect intimate size. I love the vibe when the lights go down and the party lights come on! I also especially love when the fans come on 😂 I've enjoyed literally ALL of the coaches- I usually end up taking classes with Christina, Cat, Maura, Hannah, Charlotte, and Sara. Their classes usually work better with my schedule, but lucky me because they're all sincerely fantastic. The class schedules offers a wide variety of options, which makes it easy to work around my busy mom life. Even as a full-time mom and part-time night shift worker, I can still find time to work out 3-4x/week. The quick 45 min noon classes have been extremely convenient as I can sneak away on hubby's lunch break. I also enjoy the variety of classes (STRIDE, COMBO, & CORE)- sometimes you just wanna veg out and go on an uninterrupted walk (or jog/run), and the STRIDE classes (all treadmill) are perfect for that. Sometimes, you wanna switch things up and get off the treads to lift some weights and move your body in a different way, and the COMBO and CORE classes are great! I think my personal favorite is probably the COMBO class, but it really depends on the day. One of my favorite things about STRIDE so far has been the community aspect. I don't know how they have managed to build such a "family" feeling in such a short period of time, but it does truly feel that way. It means a lot to be recognized by the coaches- I truly feel like they all know who I am and care about my progress. They are also constantly having events in & out of the gym. I especially love that I can workout to MY fitness abilities (slow power walker over here). Being overweight and out of shape can make group fitness classes VERY intimidating, but I have NEVER felt out of place at STRIDE. Everyone from the coaches, staff, to fellow class patrons have been nothing encouraging and welcoming. Seriously, come check it out- there's something for everyone and your first class is FREE! :) See you...
Read moreCannot emphasize what an amazing space and community has fostered here. The workouts are great, but it is the atmosphere and people who keep me coming back. The owner and staff are all really friendly and genuine. They welcome people at all different levels (I personally hadn't worked out in ~6 mo.) and I always feel encouraged and supported.
The workouts are also great. My favorite is the "Combo", where they pair a tread running workout with full-body exercises (sometimes weighted). But there are also "core" and "stride" (only running) workouts available. The availability of classes is also great - works really well with my schedule. I love that they have Sunday...
Read moreReally nice studio. Adaptable workouts. I’m not fast at all but I can do the walking workouts with incline and they’re still intense. Your metrics from class are emailed to you afterward so you can track progress. The coaches are great and very encouraging!! Free parking is also a plus. I like that there are lots of times available for classes, including for a quick lunch break! Coach Sara and Coach Hannah are fantastic!...
