The Tailored Hide Custom Leather & The Gift Gallery — Attraction in Neenah

Eccentric little place that has a special aurora to it. Much of the lovely trinkets and candles are locally sourced or internationally (locally) sourced, if you know what I mean. I was told it's deliberate and that's what they go for. The Tailored Hide is the only leather alteration service within 4 hours of me. Businesses that provide these services just don't exist anymore, and I'm sincerely glad that smaller businesses like them are still around.

I have an original NYC Schott 618 Perfecto, and had been seeking out an alteration place for a while now. I wanted the jacket to be slimmer around my torso and waist, like the style of Marlon Brando. The seamstress who fitted me went straight to business, and was direct and down to Earth about doing what I needed. She was quick with assessing the right way to go about it, and I was out of there fast. Nonetheless, I stayed for while anyway to appreciate the place and contribute more patronage. I recently needed to purchase a pair of quality motorcycle boots, and had seen a pair I liked here. Unfortunately, the size I normally take was a bit tight on one foot but they were willing to order me the next half-size up. When those boots were too big, they suggested they could stretch the boot for me. They were able to make the boot that was tight fit comfortably, and I wore them both days this weekend on my motorcycle. I also purchased a great little purse that fits nicely in my saddlebag. This is the Best shop. So friendly and they really know how to make you feel special. I got there today 1 hour before closing time they were very busy I had 9 patches and 3 different vest to have decorated the gal that sewed them on didn't think she'd get them all done but she did great, all got done and the prices are great too. I never saw their tip jar before but I did tonight and I showed them a bit of gratitude. Thanks so much ladies had a great time.
