I rarely write public reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience to spare someone from suffering through the same. I made the mistake of entrusting the data recovery from my nonfunctional Macbook. He assured me both that he would complete the recovery within the 4 days I would be out of town-literally promising: "On Saturday, I guarantee it will be done." This assurance was the only reason I allowed him to complete the task. I returned on Sunday, allowing him an extra day in case he had a hectic week, only to find he hadn't even started. I called the store every day thereafter for 3 days until he suggested that HE was stressed by my daily veritable pleas for him to complete the job as promised. He finally gave me a new deadline of 2 more days. When the new deadline arrived, he claimed the job was done but he needed to wait until my data was delivered to the store because he had outsourced the project, and that he would call me by 7pm that day. Two days thereafter, he still hadn't called and I finally realized every claim he made was an outright lie and that he would never finish the job-because he wasn't capable of doing it-and called the store to notify them of my intent to collect my laptop immediately. The owner was conveniently absent when I arrived, lacking the basic decency to simply apologize for the undue stress and adverse impact on my academic experience caused by his dishonesty. Read moreI broke my phone about a week ago after a fall, my LCD on my iPhone X had a stripe going down the middle and AT&T didn’t have my phone available to swap out with insurance. Called these guys, and they gave me a quote over the phone. Went in and my phone was fixed in about 15-20 minutes. They even included a free screen protector because it was my first time there which was really nice. I was concerned about the quality of the LCD as Apple uses OLED displays on the iPhone X and they showed me the screen before they installed it to ensure me it was OLED and like OEM standards. Very professional guys that backup their work.
The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because I can definitely tell the screen is aftermarket, but still a high quality product. The display is slightly raised due to the aftermarket screen including a gasket to keep the phone water resistant which is good for functionality but not for visual esthetics; as well as the display with which you interact with is ever so slightly smaller and more curved making glass screen protectors unusable without a small air pocket at either the top or bottom of the screen. This hasn’t stopped me from being satisfied with my service as they did try to replace the protector for me with a new one at no extra cost. I recommend you visit this shop if you need your phone repaired. They were very kind to me and gave me the best service possible. Read moreI brought my perfectly working galaxy s9+ in yesterday to have the cracked screen replaced. They replaced the screen quickly, I paid the over $200 bill for the repair. As I was driving home I attempted to make a phone call but could not. I tried to call them at the shop and could not. I drove back and they looked through the settings and told me it was probably just a cell service problem. They were able to get the phone to finally make a call. They offered to put my cracked screen back on and give me my money back but i told them it wasn't the screen causing the problem it was something that happened to the phone when they replaced it. Obviously something happened during the removal of the broken screen and installing the new one. The phone then worked for about a half an hour and stopped working again, no calls or internet. It now is totally unable to make calls, text or internet. 5 hours on the phone with Verizon tech support today to have them come to the conclusion that the phone does not work and needs to be replaced. Bad enough I have to now buy a new phone but I think they should have reimbursed me for the repair. Would never recommend them to anyone. I don't think they damaged it on purpose but things happen.
