Cali-ritos Burrito Grill - Downtown — Restaurant in New Bedford

Ordered a steak burrito bowl with Spanish rice, pico, cheese and black beans and a burrito (Made the same way) plus the “Street corn”. I’ve seen so much hype about this place but after reading some reviews it seems it’s the one on Cove Road that’s better? Not sure. I found the food so bland… Not much seasoning or spices. Really nothing special, I almost ordered from chipotle tonight but I decided to try something new. While eating I was pretty upset I didn’t order from chipotle 😂 Let’s talk about the “Street corn” for a second. I’ve had this before. So what I was expecting and what I got was COMPLETELY different. This was plain corn with a pound of Tajin and Parmesan cheese on top… I could almost get over the fact that the corn was plain if it didn’t have an entire pound of tajin on top. Plus the cheese choice. So disappointing. I couldn’t even finish it. Would I say this place is “Horrible”? No. Would I order from here again? No. It wasn’t bad by any means (The corn was) It was just realllyy...

The food is good, not great. However the real issue is either the online ordering system is sub par or someone who takes the orders wasn't thinking. With your order they have an option to have rice and beans. I chose my options. For some reason they thought when I chose my options that I wanted the rice and beans IN MY QUESIDILLA? No idea why they thought that was a thing. I didn't think I had to put special instructions to indicate that. It also didnt come with pico or salsa. I have never ordered a quesidilla before that didn't come with either or. I still plan on ordering in the future. I just hope the experience goes a bit...

I ordered a burrito bowl with barbacoa and they legit forgot to add the meat..I wouldn’t care if you forgot something other than that, but really? lmao. I really don’t get how that would happen other than someone not caring or paying attention. I paid for a bowl of rice, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. Yay! Also, the chips you did remember are cold and seem like they have been chillin on the counter for one week. This did not brighten my day guys… not cool.
