First, I want to say that No Problemo is my favorite burrito place around. Their Santa Pepper is amazing and their hot sauces are fire! My girlfriend and I go here on weekly basis. Their food is deserving of nothing less than 5 stars. However, their "full service" bar left me leaving there feeling so awkward, guilty and a uncomfortable. It will definitely be some time before I go back for takeout and I don't think I will ever eat in there again. I was not going to comment on my experience because I felt like I was to blame for it. However, after talking to friends who work in the food service industry I was strongly encouraged to share my experience. So, what happened was I went in this past Thursday (10/17/19) around 230pm. My friend and I decided to have tacos and a beer at the bar. Our dine in order came to $26 before tax. I also go two burritos to go. I tipped 15% only the portion of the bill that was dine in. I always tip when I get takeout here, but I figured tipping only the dine in portion was sufficient. Well, this was definitely not the case in the eyes of our bartender. I was quickly informed in a gratuitously rude manner by the waitress/bartender this was nothing less than unacceptable for the services she rendered. She confronted me as I was leaving, and informed me that "it is common practice to tip 20% on the entire bill". This is new to me for I thought it was common practice to tip 15%. It was so awkward and she was quite angry. I was so uncomfortable and embarrassed. As I proceeded to give her the $10 tip she requested, she was grumbling her discontent intentionally loud enough to her coworker so myself, my friend and other patrons could here it. Additionally, I am assuming this coworker was her significant other because they showed public displays of affection multiple times during the hour my friend and I were there. This was also a little uncomfortable. The whole experience so very awkward and discouraging. I love No Problemo, but this experience was...
Read moreFood is GREAT! BUT the Bartender/Waitress is extremely rude, unprofessional and comfortable being nasty to not only me, my mom and another family member. We all have given her plenty of chances and I can now say there’s DEFINITELY something wrong with her. We all went on different occasions and ALL had a bad experience with her. She’s very comfortable being nasty and talking to customers SLOPPY. If you’re put to bartend and waitress on your own, take out your frustration on your higher up instead of a loyal customer who is going to tip you great! Refusing to seat us, yelling infront of other customers telling my Caregiver mom you won’t serve her and she needs to get up from her seat and get out of the business with her food to eat elsewhere is heartbreaking. Waiter refused on different occasions to serve my mom and me. PLEASE CONSIDER hiring someone else and get rid of her and take the chance on someone who wants to be there! Not sure if she’s a family member of the owner who doesn’t know how to talk to other human beings or she’s miserable in her personal life and takes it out on others. And taking extra long to take care of my mom especially when she’s been more than patient, kind and is exhausted and hungry from a long shift of caregiving (when there’s no other customer to take care of) is downright WRONG. Either way, I LOVE this small local business and will be coming back because they have a GREAT hand when it comes to food. Just super sad and disappointed that this is the face you see and deal with serving you your food. Please be kind REGARDLESS of how someone may look that day. You have no idea what someone is going through. Do better!!!! Or go take a class to learn how to talk to others. If my mom is beyond exhausted and hungry and can still be kind to...
Read moreAverage "mexican" food. Not really an authentic style but enjoyable. No complaints about the food. Just wasn't anything remotely special. The staff at the wait to be seated area seemed incredibly dismissive, as if he was surprised we asked for a table. We were there on a busy day for lunch. The wait was moderate for a burrito. I even watched one of the kitchen guys come to the table next to us to re ask the dude for his order 3 times and they seemed to not care about his order (he seemed to refund him at the very least). Terrible customer service for a place like this that should be careful of their order slips. The chips taste like they're store bought and salted even if they were made here (I don't know if they were or not). The seating is convoluted and I barely saw any staff. Saw two tables of customers leave before finishing their food, annoyed by the service. The music was good, the place wasn't too loud, except for them constantly SCREAMING names of customers which destroys the atmosphere entirely, very annoying while trying to eat. Seems decent for takeout if I was going to school in the area. The overall quality was decent for lunch and acceptable but I'm probably not going to be back here again. There are so many places that are way way better and family owned with better food quality. I would take it over any over popularized chains any day of the...
