Salon M — Attraction in New Orleans

Do not recommend. I had Kelly for the cut and Zoey for the treatment. The whole experience was challenging from the start. The treatment was put on my scalp (very fine uncolored hair and moisture treatment) and not worked through the ends at all. I had to run it through the ends myself (never in my life have I had to do that!) - no massage either… The cut with Kelly was also challenging - I showed her a picture of my hair with a previous cut which I wanted again. She didn’t check the lengths after cutting so when she got done blow drying one piece was a solid inch longer than the rest of the hair as well as that complete side was longer than the other. It seemed like a huge hassle to get what I asked for in the first place and get it done well. Very little care and attention to detail. Not relaxing or painless - literally, as Kelly was blow drying my hair with dead ends still on it kept getting caught in the brush. Would not recommend. But I did still tip for some reason so the whole experience of a cut and treatment cost me $148...

I absolutely love my new cut! I was a first time customer and needed a last minute cut as a walk-in after checking 4 other salons in the neighborhood. The staff was all very warm and inviting and took care of me right away.

Ashley is amazing! I have curls and thin hair and was looking for a very specific cut with little vocabulary to know what to ask for. She nailed it! She asked all the right questions to get the idea of what I wanted and went above and beyond to meet my specific wants.
