Yancy Street Comics — Attraction in New Port Richey

Cant say enough good things about this place ! I would give then 6 stars if I could ! I have been coming here for years, as soon as they opened in the mall. They always had a great selection and still do. They have had some kick a$$ sales lately and I added alot to my collection. Last week, I got a half set at regular price that was supposed to be 60% off. So I went in the next day and told the cute goth chick that was working. She fixed it without flinching ! The people who work here are always laid back and cool. Another reason I keep coming back. I just recently did the subscription service which I highly advise any collector to do. It saves 10% on new issues !

Im glad they moved out of the mall I hated that place ! The mall isnt doing well either so it was a good idea. This is the only shop in the county now I think, luckily they are awesome ! Only other place is in Palm Harbor and too far to drive. They have the biggest selection I have ever seen of Batman, Superman and X-Men at any shop. Marvel/DC is of course their biggest inventory but they have a ton of others also. Walking Dead? you bet. They have a ton of it. They also have a good amout of $1 boxes and clearance stuff in the back. You can spend hours back there looking at stuff lol They also have boxes, bags & boards of you need it.

If you are in the area, check this place out they have a wide variety of stuff and at decent prices too ! Keep up the good work...

i have been in comic book stores around the country, and in different countries during my time in the U.S. Air force. on Dec 7th 2015 i came in to the store and happened to interupted the attendant working at 11 am. i asked the gentleman if they had any price guides because i was in the market to sell some comic books the man begrudgingly put down his daredevil graphic novel to assist me. He took me to the area that they kept price guides and left me to browse only to return less than 3 minutes later to ask me "are you going to buy it" as if i was some common thief. i then said i would be back for it and proceeded to ask the man about their policy's for buying and selling comic books having been a longtime collector and wanting to get rid of some of my graphic novels this is when the gentleman replied "yes we buy them were also a fan of selling them". in all my time and all the different stores in different cities states and country's that i have purchased comic books the way he said it was so rude and insulting i have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner being a patron and paying customer i would suggest no one go into this store i understand why it was closed down before and...

I'm a huge comic collector from Toronto, and by pure chance, I stumbled upon this place when visiting my grandparents. Not only that, but the day I walked in, they happened to be hosting the cover artist of the Absolute Carnage Immortal Hulk issue. Admittedly, I found some of the books a bit too expensive, but the point of this review is to talk about the amazing customer service.

I purchased a book I wanted to get signed by the hosted artist. While he was signing, I noticed what I thought was a slight defect with the book. I flipped through it, only to find one of the pages was folded up and damaged.

I felt embarrassed, but I brought it to the attention of the store owner, who apologized and immediately got me a brand new copy. He even offered to let me skip the line to have it signed again at no extra charge.

It was impressive to see that even on a super busy event day, he managed to show wonderful customer service skills. The other staff I dealt with were awesome as well. I'll definitely be returning once I'm back...
