Amenity Wax Spot & Spa — Attraction in New York

The 4.9/5.0 stars that this salon has is exactly where it should be. It is no where near overhyped. Let's get rid of the negative reviews you see from years/months ago and keep it real for a second:

October 9, 2022: This was my first time ever doing Brazilian Waxing so I had absolutely no clue where to go, when I looked at how good of reviews Amenity's Wax Spot & Spa had, I knew that I had to see it for myself. Me having absolutely no knowledge of waxing at all, my experience with Maria was excellent and she even helped me decide which one was better between Chocolate Waxing ($45), Honey Waxing ($45), and an Aloe Vera ($50) kind of waxing by elaborating on each of them with so much knowledge. I chose the Aloe Vera kind of one. (It might have a different name, I just forgot so I call it the Aloe Vera kind.)

Maria does not rush as if she doesn't care, but instead just naturally finishes quickly, time-sufficiently and perfectly which is an excellent balance. She does not get frustrated if you continuously flinch (trust me, I would know lol). She instead calmly pats down on it with every strand to relieve the sting and checks in if you are okay and let's you know that it is alright to ask for a breather/break. All the hairs were removed and she triple-checks each time. I was even surprised myself when I checked. Would definitely be coming back for...

I have been going to Ruby for many years for my eyebrows and am always so happy with her services!! It is quick, painless, and I always love how my eyebrows look. Not only that, but she is very kind, friendly, and always goes above and beyond for her clients.

Today was my first day back in months and I was very pleased to see how clean it was! Like the other reviews have mentioned, she has taken on strong cleaning procedures and precautions such as hand sanitizing, temperature checks, and spraying your shoes with disinfectant. I was very impressed at the measures taken and felt completely safe while getting my eyebrows done.

I’ve been with maya for 7 years in all locations she has been working at never changed.always followed her and stood with her throughout. She is great, very loving , always happy , loves her job , professional and always does a good job at all her work. Last, she was working at Divya threading salon on 3231 Westchester Ave , The Bronx, which now she has upgraded to amenity .
