Betsy Head Pool — Attraction in New York

The faculty a bunch of sweethearts they’re nice. I’ve never had a personal issue with neither of them. I just feel like with the amount of rules that they have for this pool. They need to keep the pool actually up to par. I’m talking about keep the water clean there should be no debris in the water. There’s chips of paint in the very bottom of the pool once you step in the pool, you can hurt your feet or when you jump in the pool and touch the bottom of the pool. Sometimes you tend to step on tips of paint and you can cut yourself so it’s like with the amount of rules. You should at least have a cleaner pulled no leaves no debris no chips of paint. None of that , on top of that they need to stop hiring younger people who don’t pay attention fully to their jobs. I’ve noticed that they hire younger people that are under 20 years old or younger than 25 and some of them don’t do their job properly paying attention they want to talk too much on the sidelines or do too much flirting , more than their job just please for the safety of everybody else, including the children keep the pools maintenance actually up to par and when you’re letting birds play in the same water, we have to be in our children is very much unsanitary as well other than that...

🤗My happy place the best time is near the end of the summer when the kids are back in school. I've never had an entire pool to myself before. It was errie and uncomfortable at forst bc they literally had 4-6 life gaurds for just me and I did kinda feel bad....but I needed a swim especially before the season completely ended! After abt 30 mins or so it was amazingly awesome! But even when it super packed mid summer there is typically enough space to find your own little peace in the water. The female locker room is spacious and clean. The wait in line to enter is never too too long, the staff is always friendly and communicates instruction for entry well!! They have benchs located infront of the property for pool goers to eat free lunch during the mid day break. Theres also a park across the street as well for some dry fun after if your kids still have energy to burn off. Please to anyone reading this and considering going next yr... let's not mess this location up ya'll! Pretty please... It's really a 10/10 for a NYC community pool!! Trust we don't want them to turn into Marcy pool in Bedstuy....cuz I would just curl up and cry!! That one has become Diabolical...

Im new at the neighborhood and decide to give betsyhead pool a try ignoring all the bad reviews and what people from the area have told me about this pool i decided to come anyways ..... Not only they have alot of rules and regulations but they also have 3 sides open only in the entire pool and the rest of the pool is close like what type of nonsense is that ?? not to mentioned the attituted the staff of this pool has AND NOT ONLY THAT THE WORST EXPERIENCE I GOT FROM THIS PLACE IS ..... GETTING RINGWORMS !! thats how dirty and unsanitary this place is i came with my family and friends they all Catch the fungus its crazy to say but please think twice before coming here the times i have come i could count the people in the pool so now i know why all i know is i wont be...
