Here we go ! So I been coming to bliss for about a year now… Its close to new years and the manger( my goto tech #2) isn’t present due to him being on vacation. I still decide to get what I need done because I’m used to the shop and environment is usually pleasant. I get my feet done now onto my nails I asked this young lady that did my feet if she knew how to wrap nails and she said yes. She begins to do me and she’s applying the powder and I noticed by the 3rd nail they’re all thick so I ask again and say “hey do you know what you’re doing because it doesn’t look how it usually does when I get powder applied?” I’m sitting besides tech #6 and #4 . Tech # 5 laughs and during that two other techs looked at my nails and from there I knew she was messed up. I gave tech 5 a min to answer the question and now I’m saying “it’s either a yes or no I’m not trying to be funny or rude because I can’t sit all day if you can’t move efficiently and give me quality work.” Tech # 4 helps me out and gets another lady to do them . Fast forward I left the salon with a unfinished set because tech 5 knew she was playing with my REAL NAILS I GROW OUT and didn’t want to be HONEST. I also had togo as I had other things to do . I was in there from 11am to 3pm. (pictures I will provide) Today 12/29/23 I come back and show the owners brother my nails and I tell him I want them fixed and I want to change the French tip color . The same tech that did me 12/28/23 is doing me and as she’s doing me we are discussing what I’d like done and all the sudden she’s acting oblivious of my set errors and how it’ll cost me more to get something fixed that I didn’t do. I tell her let’s speak to tech #3 the brothers manager because I showed him and we SET A $ for me to give . I show and tell him the same thing again for him to confirm the price I told her I’m paying since it’s what WE came up with understanding I left with an unfinished set. As she gets ready to Im still talking and I’m otp while all of this is occurring she says something about me being broke . One thing I don’t tolerate is disrespect. I even told her if you don’t want to fix my nails you gotta tell your manger plus one of her coworkers was playing in my nails yesterday as she knows this. The young lady even sit to watch how she applies powder. I use my money I work hard for and expect customer service to be great. I’m not disrespectful so it rubbed me the wrong way. I called her lame and older than me saying this . I laughed like that card you never pull on people who bringing you money. Yesterday I left with my nails not looking how i usually get them and still tipped and gave her 5 and I regret that. The tech that did my nails sits by the window where the dryers for regular polish is. Unfortunately, I left the salon feeling disappointed and frustrated due to the poor customer service I received. I feel compelled to share my experience with others, as I believe businesses must be aware of areas for improvement.
First and foremost, the owner’s demeanor was unwelcoming and disinterested. When I arrived I was met with indifference and had to wait for 15 minutes before someone acknowledged my presence. Their lack of professionalism set a negative tone for the entire visit.
Once I was seated, I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time before a technician was available to begin working on my nails. This disregard is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for the customer’s time.
Moreover, the technician who eventually attended to me seemed rushed and uninterested in providing quality service. They lacked attention to detail and appeared to be more concerned with finishing quickly rather than ensuring my satisfaction. The result was a subpar fill-in that did not meet my expectations. It appears to be that the other nail technicians have the same disinterested attitude towards newcomers. What struck me the most was the complete disregard for basic courtesy. One of the female technicians named Ria tones of voice was consistently impolite and condescending, making me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer.
Additionally, the overall cleanliness of the salon left much to be desired. The floors were dirty, and the tools used during my fill-in did not seem adequately sanitized. I felt uneasy about the level of hygiene and sanitation maintained at the salon, which is a major concern considering the nature of their services.
Lastly, when I attempted to address my concerns with the manager, I was met with defensiveness and dismissive responses. Instead of genuinely listening to my feedback and attempting to rectify the situation, they simply brushed off my complaints. This lack of accountability further solidified my negative perception of the salon's customer service.
In conclusion, my experience at Bliss Nail Salon was marred by unprofessionalism, delays, lackluster service, and an unsanitary environment. I expected a relaxing and enjoyable visit but left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I hope that the management takes this feedback constructively and works towards improving their customer service, as there is definite room for growth in this area. Until substantial changes are made, I regretfully cannot recommend Bliss Nail Salon to others seeking a pleasant nail...
Read moreI have came here maybe atleast 4 times during the pandemic. I actually like this place a lot. I moved so I had to find something more convenient to home. I came here with a friend last year and then I had fell in love. Everybody is very professional. and Its very clean. They have various colors many types of dip powders and also various types of color gel polishes. When i first started here, I came to a young lady named Lexy. She did my nails very nice the first time I came here :) I had fell in love with the colors and all ... The i ended up in the first chair, I do not know the mans name but he does an outstanding JOB !!! Their was a time when lexy had clogged to much powder acrylic on top on my nails and they wilted! so knowing that I now sit with the first chairs men, He does a great job he took pictures not sure if they went up, But when i get the chance will post a few... Please do come on your appointment time and always booked an appointment they do not do walk-ins. Also when u do book please make sure they take their time. Their has been maybe 2 times where i had went and they rushed either my nails or my toes. My nails i put stickers on em they are already coming off as in Lifting !!
