This park is not a safe or enjoyable place for children. It’s often occupied by people who are homeless, intoxicated, or engaging in inappropriate behavior. Many sit on the benches drinking alcohol or sleeping, and some urinate anywhere they want. Recently, I even witnessed a man defecating in broad daylight and wiping himself on the park fence absolutely disgusting. The playground itself is unsafe for younger children because older kids play aggressively, blocking or pushing little ones, while their parents either ignore or seem to watch to see if anyone dares say something. The swing area is often taken over by groups of asian women dancing, leaving no space for kids. Additionally, there are adult men without children sitting inside the park, staring at young girls, which feels very uncomfortable.
