This supermarket Seafood Dept their foreman (鱼佬大)and his team are not very honors. Two months ago, I bought a giant king crab costed me at over $25. At their requested I paid to the cashier first than bought the King crab back to the seafood station and asked them to chop for me, Their cutting board was near the corner of the wall so when the worker chopped the crab for me, his back was facing me. When I got home and I kept teh crab in the refrigerator until at two hours later I was ready to cook them, I found out one of legs was missing. I clearly remembered I picked the normal crab with two complete front legs. I realized someone there might have kept the meaty leg for his own meal. Next morning I called the store and I spoke to Seafood Dept the foreman and complained his workers were not being honors. He told me next time go to see him and he would refund with a lobster. Today I went to see him, this foreman overthrew everything he said, he denied and yelled, he tried to cover up for his people in front me and in front of the supermarket boss who joined me to talked to him. They cheated on consumers, liar and very rude. I heard from other people talking about this super market. while I was talking this foreman (鱼佬大), few customers who shop there regularly told me this Seafood foreman 鱼佬大 is not a nice person, they all dislike him very much. After reading my story, stay away this place as much as you can, because you will never know you might be the...
Read moreThe man who work at the parking lot should definitely be FIRED. I spent more than $100 for grocery, far exceeding $30 limit of 1.5 hours' complimentary parking. I went in the parking lot at 16:07, and exited at 16:44, which is 37 minutes. I got the required stamp on the ticket when checking out. The gate keeper saw my plate is not from NY, and asked me $5 for parking saying I stayed more than 30 minutes. Even if you didn't shop, you only pay $3 for the parking, it looks like I spent 100$ and got penalized for another $2. I was shocked, and say I don't have the money to pay for this ticket, and you can call the police. When he knows I am not someone easy to be bullied, he let me go immediately. Later I called the customer service, the lady confirmed 1.5 hour free parking. That's ridiculous, I have all the reasons doubts he keeps the money by himself. If the owner wants me to testify it, I am happy to do that, until...
Read moreNot safe. First it is always super crowed. People line up back to back without regard to social distance, plus line is slow and long. Alley is narrow and customer are often bumping into each other and the staff that are always cutting the vegetables.
In addition there is a African guy that doesn't wear a mask that goes in and bother the customers and cashier asking for money. He goes line by line. The premise doesn't do anything about it and let him bother the customer/ spreading germs. No manager or security guards even bother to approach.
I saw the guy today and last time I went. It has been a while since I shopped here, what are the odds? Ever since the omicron surge I stopped going to this supermarket. I presume this guy visit this premise everyday.
Be vigilant and watch out for...
