Bushwick Market — Attraction in New York

I couldn't speak more positively about this outdoor market. It's been a true jem of the neighborhood the whole time I've lived in the area. I love stopping by there whenever I have the chance or when I need something they might sell, and I've never left my visits without one or more incredible finds and great prices, ranging from cheap but useful second-hand items to clothing to plants to even nice jewelry! Especially as someone who prefers to buy things secondhand rather than new, and I especially love shopping locally rather than ordering online, so I really couldn't recommend this place more. Also, the people who own/run it are super kind and friendly, they have always been a pleasure to interact with and make it feel like a super cozy and warm neighborhood spot. This is a cool open-market. Not sure if to call it a flea market or thrift shop but there is only one seller and they sell a variety of items from clothes, plants, kitchenware, house hood items, cameras etc. I think it is definitely a place worth checking out to find some cool items. My only concern is that the items are pricey for the quality or just the presentation of items. For example the clothes are all over the place and some of them are molded and some are not usable. It will be great to organize the clothes. The jewelry section is very lovely and the ladies selling the items are kind. The items are priced during check out. They have a lot of neat houseware stuff and plants (if that was all there was i’d say 3 stars), but the prices on the home stereo items in the back are prohibitively high for their conditions & brands. You will pay 3-5x less at any other thrift store that isn’t simultaneously exposing them to the elements. Some of the home stereo stuff is higher priced than the nice furniture they carry.
