Caesar's Bay Shopping Center — Attraction in New York

I've been going to Caesar's Bay shopping center for the past 30 years or so (since childhood). It's current configuration is comprised of big name stores such as Best Buy Kohls Skechers Target Starbucks Wendy's Five Guys Burgers Vitamin Shoppe TD Bank Bob's Discount Furniture Five Below Kay's Jewelry Olive Garden

There is also a small eatery called Pizza D'Amore, which is great. Next to it is a fast food style Japanese restaurant called Teriyaki One, also really good.

There are a number of small vendors on the edge of the property, such as a hot dog cart, and either a Carvel Ice Cream Truck or a Mister Softee truck (either one or the other and sometimes both), as well as a Juice/Shake stand nearby.

Tons of parking available in the massive parking lot and there is also street parking on Bay Parkway,

Easily accessible right off the belt parkway, and via the B6 and B82 buses, or you can walk from the D train station at 86th and Bay Parkway.

Cesar's Bay is definitely my go-to spot when need to get serious errands done! This place is always hopping – hundreds of people are usually here, so expect a lively and energetic atmosphere. You've got some big stores that pretty much cover all your bases, including Target, Kohl's (with Sephora at Kohl's!), Best Buy, and BJ's Wholesale Club. I can always find what I'm looking for. ​They've also installed Tesla charging stations. There's usually a line, but hey, it's good to know if you drive an EV! Even with all the people around, parking is surprisingly easy to find, which is a huge relief and makes the whole experience so much less stressful. ​And if you need a quick bite or a caffeine boost, you're covered. The Toys R Us and Modell’s are gone, but, not forgotten! A Target is coming in place of Toys and a Spirit of Halloween currently occupies Modell’s as of October 2020. The Five Guys is good here as is the Best Buy location. There’s a great pizza place hidden between the Best Buy and former Modell’s store, with large slices. A TD bank is also present for those that need it and a Kohl’s which is great for returning Amazon purchases. There’s also a Starbucks and Wendy’s which are satisfactory. An Olive Garden and TMobile and jewelry store are here as well, the big appeal being that this is near the water where you can go for a lengthy walk after getting something to eat and some shopping done.
